My husband read the glowing reviews and decided to give this place a try. We ordered the 'pork' banh mi, and Vietnamese coffee. Now, we were pretty spoiled in our previous city because we lived right near the Little Saigon neighborhood and had an incredible local bakery, and I know the Midwest is not known for its ethnic cuisine... But it takes a very special level of bad for me to spit food out immediately. I almost didn't even try the sandwich, because upon inspection the protein was gray and looked like it came from a tube because it had the dimples in it. But I did try it, and boy do I regret it. The texture and taste of whatever that sauce was, was gritty and tasted more like ranch than anything that would belong on a banh mi. The iced Vietnamese coffee was still quite warm, and it just tasted of drip coffee and creamer, not espresso and condensed milk. Giving one extra star because the pastry we had was baked well and tasty, but that still feels generous.
The owner was very nice and the food was delicious. The food is made fresh so you'll be to be patient but it is so worth it. I got the sandwich combo. The coffee was a delicious treat and the bahn mi was very good. I will definitely be back again.
Delicious coffee and Bahn mi. The combo is the best value. Everything is made fresh as you wait.
First time take out . Not bad at all . If it wasn’t so sweet I prolly go there all the time . I can taste the sugar in every spoon taste . Flavor is very refreshing though . I would go again in person next time .** I changed 3 to now 4 stars - the summer roll did it for me . Was pretty good. Better than other places in cbus.
I always drive by this place on my way home from work and finally stopped in today. Everything was super fresh and the lady working was absolutely lovely :) will definitely be back!
The woman there is always so kind and such a hard worker! They have the best Pho around. I drive out of the way to get it!! Check it out!
Love that there are veggie options! Fresh summer rolls are my favorite and go to! Amazing owner is the one taking and cooking all the orders!
absolutely delicious banh mi. in case you are not aware, vietnamese banh mi are the best sandwiches!! my meatball banh mi was flavorful and delicious. i also had a cold vietnamese coffee and was excellent iced coffee.
I like this place a lot, because their prices are cheaper than most Vietnamese places I’ve seen around this city so far. As of right now she’s only accepting take-out. The lady/owner here is so kind! My boyfriend said she made him feel welcome/ comfortable. His card accidentally declined once and he said she didn’t look at him weird or have any negative reactions to the situation. I’m stating this because my boyfriend is black and rarely feels welcome in most places. I’m glad to have found this restaurant and I’m proud to support it.
Outstanding experience - went in for a Vietnamese Coffee and happened to grab some food out of curiosity...really glad we did! Honestly blown away, totally exceeded any expectations I had. Saigon coffee was phenomenal, super deep & rich flavor and the perfect level of sweet from the condensed milk. Tried the meatball sandwich with a spring roll and I'd be lying if I said it wasn't one of the best sandwiches I've had, might be in my Top 10. We'll be back to try more, no doubt.

The pho here is SO good! I’m always craving it!
Very familial atmosphere. One of the best—and biggest—banh mi sandwiches I’ve had in a long time (sautéed chicken with lemongrass). Shrimp summer rolls were beautifully made, too.I had to wait a bit, but I also went off-hours (between lunch and dinner), and the food was cooked and assembled just for my order. Will definitely return and recommend.
We got the pork terrine baguette, as well as the Vietnamese coffee (cold) and Thai tea (cold). it’s carry-out only right now, but the location is so cute! and the staff is very kind, helpful and pleasant :-) the pork terrine was well seasoned with delicious toppings, and the bread was fresh and wonderful! the Vietnamese coffee was some of the best i’ve ever had, and the tea was excellent as well. we want to try more menu items so we will surely be back. thank you!
We went here after we reviewed the comments & ratings. Boy are you guys wrong!!!We ordered the combo, one with spring roll & another with egg roll, combo comes with coffee. We waited 30min for our order(with no other customer around). Coffee finally was given & it was instant Vietnamese coffee! The kind you buy in the Asian grocery store! Look, if I wanted instant coffee, I'd make it myself in my hotel! I wanted authentic drip Vietnamese coffee!!!?. To top it all, the Vietnamese sandwich is not of Vietnamese baguette! It's too thick. We ordered regular grill pork & lemon grass beef sandwich. We received lemon grass pork & cold cuts sandwich. We recommend you try a different restaurant. Not this place!
Wow this place is good. Can't miss this. Just come here.
