Sound with the DJ & the performers was HORRIBLE. The painted cinder block walls made it sound like I was in a school gymnasium. Was only offered wings & fries and was denied a menu for anything else. Service was ok tho. Could definitely use a deep clean & some repairs/upgrades.

This restaurant gets a -2. For bad food and being misleading. This use to be the best African food restaurant on the Eastside. Not anymore! But they kept the same name but keep changing the owners, that's why u don't know there is a difference. The short, nice guy with the dreadlocks is gone. So is the old cook. But don't be fooled. They may have kept the same name but it's a completely different set up. They have menus on the table but will cook and have you paying for something completely different from what you ordered. Yesterday, I went in there to order fish, the girl at the bar had to explain to me what was actually available because they put menus out with food they don't actually cook. She told me the dish was chicken and fish, but I know what chicken and fish taste like. I was starving and when I got home it was green rice in some spicy gravy with this meat with all kinds of bones in it and hard to chew. Probably lamb, but I asked for and was told it would be chicken and fish. It was heavy on my stomach and upset my stomach and made me sick and tired. Anytime they gotta explain the food to you, put out different menus, then u still don't get what you paid for, it's not worth paying for or patronizing. This is why I hate eating food from foreigners and ethnic food. I spend $18 and should have gotten what I ordered. I didn't and I.m not going back, ever!

These mfs ain’t had fataya fish in damn near 4months … it’s only tilapia I don’t understand what the hold up is on the restock ? I call and ask and everytime she says no she offers the chicken fataya … fish and chicken are two different things …. If you have something on the menu that hasn’t been in stock for that long it shouldn’t still be on the menu …. Won’t ever call visit or anything else AGAIN #Chicago

Food has been nasty for the last month or so idk what happens to them. My damn dog didn't even want the fish. This used to be my favorite restaurant anytime I came to columbus.
Best place to hangout with buddies and loved the food! Omg… their bar is amazing. Loved the ambience and bar tender. Love to go again and again… HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I hope they keep it open till midnight ?

The fact this man had barley any liquor at the bar was a first red flag then ordering a last option drink two doubles cost me 50 bucks a friend paid 30 for single shots and it was bottom shelf liquor definitely would not recommend me at
