After a great tour of the distillery, we dined at the Service Bar (which is an impressive space highlighted by a turn of the century bar). Abby, our server, was delightful and guided us through the menu. We began with a smoked trout small plate - simply outstanding. As entrees, my wife had beef neck ragout which she described as very tender with flavorful vegetables. My spring pea gnudi was exceptional, with very fresh peas and delectable gnudi. Our son had the calabrian honey chicken, which he described as flavorful with a balance of savory and sweet spicy. The drinks, as one would expect, were superb as well. The old fashioned and Ireland's call worth the trip in themselves. The Middle West Service Bar, and the distillery tour, are hidden gems.
Delicious! The pork milenese was fantastic. Duck fat fries were great and my partners burger was spot on. Loved the manhattan and the Courtland sour. It was a quiet Saturday night and had spectacular service. Looking forward to being back and bringing friends. It's a cool vibe and great location. Parking lot next door!
Another fantastic dinner at Service Bar! The Old Fashioned was delicious and so well balanced. The Caesar salad was unique and so good. The dressing had a nice bite to it and the anchovy crisp on top was so good! The beef neck Ragu was to absolutely die for. Delicious wide pappardelle noodles with just the right amount of beef Ragu, flavor bomb in every bite!
Even better than I remember! I come here to try things I would probably never order elsewhere because I know it's going to be good. And I love that their bar staff can always help me find just what I'm itching for.
Cool vibes and tasty gastropub fare at the kitchen in Middle West distillery. Generous portions and helpful, attentive service. We had the smoked trout and wings as appetizers and some pappardelle with beef ragout and some pork cheek entrees (could have used more polenta), followed by some sticky toffee pudding topped with some buttery bourbon sauce. Cocktails were also generous and top notch, as to be expected from a distillery restaurant. Will be back.
Pair a meal here along a tour of the Middle West Distillery and you'll have a wonderful evening. The cocktails are really well made and the service is fantastic! They have a couple chef specials, one is a pizza and one is a vegan dish and we tried them both. They were absolutely delicious. They have specials on desserts as well as dessert cocktails. If you like any of the spirits you can stop at the attached bottle shop to grab some before you leave.
We had a table reserved on 2/15/25 and had a fantastic experience. The service was on point, with a friendly waiter who took very good care of us. There was a small mishap with a drink hitting the floor (party foul!), but everyone jumped right on it and made it a non-issue for us or anyone else around.
The food and drinks were top notch as well, all topped off by a great atmosphere. We will be back.
Parking: The attached lot is somewhat small for the number of cars. It seems like they minimized the parking space sizes to try and maximize the total amount of cars. Carpool if possible.

The atmosphere was nice, our server hovered a little too much, asking us about 4-5 times if our food was tasting good. The same food we had for the entire meal, kinda felt robotic. The wings were so overly salty we couldn't finish them, but everything else was delicious and our cocktails were excellent. We would go back.
The cocktails were delicious! The vegan dish was incredibly tasty, but it was missing calories. Maybe some beans could be added? Some other protein? It was not at all filling, but was tasty.
I have nothing but heartfelt praise for the menu and experience that Chef James and his team have curated! The beef in the beef neck raggout was amazingly tender and rich with flavor. The gjetost cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding were elevated classics whose flavors will live on in my taste buds memory bank. Meal pacing and service was great. Cocktails were delightful. Relaxed atmosphere that really just lends to a nice and easy night with friends. Highly recommend loving yourself and your people by taking them to try out Service Bar (:

I hesitate to leave a review here as I’d much prefer to keep Service Bar off the radar for my own benefit. Service and ambiance were both fantastic. The food was surprisingly good compared to other restaurants attached to distilleries or breweries.
I am not exactly a cocktail aficionado, but I would not consider myself an amateur whiskey drinker. The cocktails here are unbelievable. We ordered two of the more interesting concoctions on the menus, expecting them to be akin to what you put on pancakes. They were anything but. Spirit focused, thoughtfully crafted, and addicting.
Don’t pass on Service Bar. Scratch that. Don’t go. You won’t like it. Best to stay away. 🤫

The waitress, Bri, was absolutely stellar. Very knowledgeable about the menu, the drinks were so flavorful and had a great pour; the pork cheeks were incredibly tender and the ceasar salad was almost as good as the stuffed thai chicken wings. I will go back as often as I can afford to. Ten stars if I could!

I love this place. Parking is tough, but the food and drinks are worth it. Had Cornish hen with savory bread pudding and light sauce. Was so good! Of course, it's Middle West so cocktails are fantastic. Only issue is it's pretty pricey, but we were there for special occasion so didn't bother me.
