Definitely work the 50min drive. I got the Cajun shrimp pasta and lobster fries. It was AHHHHMAZING. My son and fiancé both got the lobster Mac and gator bites. It was all seriously so good. They need a sit down restaurant, that’s the only thing that would make it better. We didn’t know it was a grab and go situation so eating the delicious food in the car, although memorable, would have been more enjoyable at a table. lol. I give this soul food restaurant a 10 out of 10. I live an hour and a half from Columbus, Ohio. The customer service is amazing, with a very friendly atmosphere. The food is amazing; the red beans are like no other, the chicken is cooked to perfection, as well as the collard greens and shrimp. If you are in this area, I highly recommend this spot.
The food is amazing and very tasty. They respect and treat customers like family. I met them at the jazz and rib fest, and realized that we come from the same town. I will definitely be going to the restaurant from now on.
