So I walked into this establishment and I’m greeted kindly and everything. This African guy walks out; I don’t know if he wash his hands or anything, and immediately coughs twice over the counter in the direction of the blender that he is about to use to make my drink. Then while I’m finishing my order, he plays with his headset, scratches his head, and then pulls out his phone to start texting. Then he puts it back in his pocket, doesn’t go to wash his hands and acts like he’s about to make my drink. Either these are a little kids working in the store at this hour or they just don’t have no regard for their customers and they are very unsanitary. Definitely won’t be back to this one..

I love this smoothie king. I go here a lot. I always do phone orders for pick up because I’m usually always busy. I was on the phone with my boss and couldn’t hang up. This was at 9:15 pm today April 10th. I decided to drive 5.6 miles to that location from my house to get a smoothie. I got there at like 9:37 ish. Stayed in the truck for a couple minutes because they close at 10 pm. Got out of the truck at 9:42 to go in and the doors were locked with two customers inside and two employees. I’ve come this late before and it was no problem. I didn’t try to come at closing that’s just how it ended up today. 9:42 doors locked for me. Why? I run construction jobs from 6 am to 7 pm most days. Up out of bed at 5 am every morning. I understand people of long days but I don’t tell my customers that I’m cutting out early on their jobs. You can’t help me out with 18 minutes to spare? A loyal customer that goes religiously hahaha. My name is Jonnie and I always get the strawberry hulk. I’m sure you know me 😉
Side note the two employees working I had never seen before so. Maybe they didn’t know me? But that doesn’t change the fact that the store closes at 10 pm. I could have been paid for and out before 10 pm even hit with how fast they serve me in the past. Maybe the google should change the closing hours to 9:42. It must have been locked way before that though because I never saw anybody walk up and lock the door. So there’s that too. Maybe they locked them at 9:30 because of too many grub hub orders i don’t know. 🤷🏼♂️

This was the worst experience at a smoothie King that I ever had I ordered the açai bowl and I guess since it was the bottom of the tub that they scooped out it was icy in freezer burnt. I went back two minutes before they close and asked if I could get a refund the girl told me no And that if I could come back tomorrow, and I was unable to because I had work customer service the worst I’ve ever had in my life.

I stood and waited for a smoothie while two employees ignored me! One even went right past me and took her smoke break. I was ready to leave and say screw the post workout smoothie until the new employee notice me as she was clocking in and took my order and even apologized for her inconsiderate coworkers. I left her a nice tip (hopefully she agrees) and hope to have my drink made by her again. Didi if you see this thank you for your service and thank you for acknowledging me as a customer I will be back!

They didn't have a substitute for sugar that was a disappointment. I normally get my smoothies from Tropical smoothie however there was none in the area so I thought I'd check out Smoothie KING and I just wasn't thrilled about my smoothie. The lady taking my order wasn't all that friendly either. The lady making the smoothie was very friendly. The store was clean that's a plus. Not thrilled about my smoothie though. They need Splenda or another option for the sugar substitute. My smoothie was very sweet. I guess if you like drinking sugar then get you a smoothie from here. Dissatisfied thumbs down ?
