Best serving I've seen in a while from anywhere. Will be coming back very soon. As Korean myself, reminded me of home.

so delicious
A group of us visited SGD for lunch, the restaurant is pretty big host gathering!
The food was good, most of us ordered the Soon tofu, their popular dish, in the cold and snowy day. I had specifically the kimchi beef soon tofu with mild spicy (I normally can take some heat, but this was just perfect for me, taken note, spicy soup does feel more spicy in hot soups! I ordered it with the udon noodle. It was delicious! The side dishes were great, about three of us shared a set of 6-7 sides, and you can always ask for more if you finish.
Their seafood pancake was also delicious! I would come back and try their other menu items!

The best place to get soondubu (순두부찌개) in Columbus is SGD! It’s similar to BCD for those of you on the West/East coasts. I would recommend choosing the hot stone rice bowl over noodles if you order the soondubu. The waiter told us that if you really want to have yours with noodles, the kalguksu 칼국수 probably goes best with it. Their other items on the menu such as galbi 갈비 is great! I wouldn’t say that the food is mindblowingly good, but I think I’m just spoiled since I am used to eating great Korean food in LA Ktown.
I think it’d be a good idea to hire more staff, as it can take a while to place your order or get your check when it gets busy.

Comfort bowl of Soondubu! Food is good but off by 1% that I can't put my finger on. Slightly pricy but what isn't these days. They give a nice array of side dishes which is nice :)

Went for lunch to this place with a korean friend. We have been to many korean restaurants in Columbus. But this restaurant is really good. Food was fresh and delicious. Also liked the menu that is not a 30 page binder.lol. it is pretty straight. Really loved the Tofu and Mushroom. We also had the Kimchi Pancake and Makegeoli. That was awesome. Good veg options as well. There was a buckwheat drink...that was fantastic.
Ambiance is casual and relaxed.
I would definitely recommend.

Very good food. Another restaurant of this chain is a favorite my son’s, so I gave this a try when I had the chance. The beef bulgogi bento he recommended did not disappoint, nor did the sushi.
The robot busboy proclaims she is pretty and smart, but didn’t pay any attention to use, so I have to assume she is as snooty as one would assume from that sort of proclamation.

I’m so disappointed. This used to be my go-to Korean restaurant and now I’m afraid I have to find a different place. I think the chef changed because what I ordered was super subpar. The japchae was under seasoned with no vegetables except carrots, vegetable soon dubu tasted like well salted beef broth (the irony) and the perilla seed soon dubu was just plain clear soup with sprinkles of perilla seeds. This is not the same SGD as the last time I was here.
The bulgogi was the only thing that was good.

We've been hunting for some good Korean food since we moved to Ohio a little over a year ago. This place does not disappoint! You know it's going to be good when you walk in the door and you can't read what the daily special is because it's in Korean.
We weren't sure what we were getting into when we pulled up initially because this restaurant is in a strip mall. We went in the door, and most of the restaurant patrons were Asian, which is also a good sign that the food is going to be great.
The bibimbap in a stone bowl is the thing to get. The portions are perfect and the food is very fresh. We enjoyed the complimentary fermented side dishes.

I ordered kimchi &beef.
But There was no meat in it.
It was nothing like before. I have not been there for a while and was told that a new owner took over. Tofu soup was not even boiling when it came out like before. Kimchi was served after we ate all the food. There was a guy working alone and he had no idea what to do (maybe new,) I won't go there ever again.
