Went to Soul 2 go for a B-day celebration for my Dad. The food and atmosphere were fantastic! Everyone was so friendly. Also, the service we received from Lay was outstanding! She took great care of us from start to finish. Lay was so pleasant and professional. She ensured that our dining experience was a wonderful memory making experience!

My friend picked up food for us. When she got back (after driving 12 miles there then 12 miles back) come to find out they gave her the wrong order. So we went back there together. After explaining what happened they cheerfully gave us the correct order. I requested a free dessert for our inconvenience. They took about 10 mins to decide if they were or weren't going to give us one.. Then came back with 1 peach cobbler, we ordered 2 meals, and the crazy thing was they didn't even ask what type of dessert that we wanted... they just decided on what they wanted to give us. In my eyes that's unprofessional and disrespectful. I have eaten here a few times prior and never had this type of service, but I believe this will be the last time spending my money with them.

I came in on my birthday for a solo lunch, and Roni was amazing she made me feel extremely comfortable, made me amazing drinks, her customer service is top notch. This is my 2nd time visiting this establishment and the food and people make you feel welcome and at home, if you have not visited this restaurant; please, please run to enjoy some great food, great service and great music!!!!

Service was poor. The bar tender took our order but was short and didn’t offer us seats to wait or anything. Out food came out in 5 minutes or less. The chicken was warmed up, mash potato’s boxed , and cabbage cooked to death. Will not return !

Asjia was such an amazing server! Food was delicious and the service was great. We had the jerk chicken, rice and beans, cabbage, lamb chops, mac and cheese! Definitely will be coming back to try some of the other items on the menu!

This is my second time visiting Soul 2 Go, and unfortunately, both experiences have been disappointing due to poor customer service. My first visit was earlier this summer, and my second was today. My husband and I waited over an hour to be seated and were never accommodated. The hostess initially attempted to seat us at the bar, but because it was too cold, we politely declined and opted to wait for a table—especially since we were next in line.

However, during our wait, we noticed several other parties being seated ahead of us. The hostess repeatedly walked away without acknowledgment or even a simple apology for the delay. It was disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and care for customers.

As a Black-owned business serving our community, it’s important that we hold ourselves to higher standards. Quality customer service is not just a courtesy—it’s an essential part of running a successful business.
