Food was delicious. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a London fog. I would not say the service was fast and the prices were a bit high, but on par for a hotel bar I suspect. Overall the service was good and the ambiance welcoming.

Easy going space with upscale vibe. They have live music with various Iocal artists on Thursdays, 6-10pm. The service was great. The wine list was ok and they serve local drafts. The food offerings were a good variety for a hotel bar. Great for a date night or even a solo night on the town. There is paid street parking all around as well as a reasonably priced garage.

With two outstanding restaurants that open early and close late, the Le Meridian Columbus, The Joseph Hotel in Columbus, Ohio, offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night options to visitors who wish to limit their alternatives. Located at 620 North High Street, Soul at the Joseph is a curated cafe, bar, lounge and pub that is open from 6 to 10 Monday through Thursday, 6 to 11:30 on Friday and Saturday and 6 to 9 on Sunday. My wife and I usually skip lunch on our daily sight-seeing adventures but we had to sample the Soul's lunch menu, which is offered from 10 to 1 on Saturday and Sunday. We started with Tempura fried cheese curds, Truffle French fries, a collection of local cheeses and meats and Caesar salad with Romaine lettuce, sourdough croutons, parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing. For a main course, my wife chose a BALT sandwich with applewood smoked bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun. I opted for a Soul Burger with bacon, Manchego cheese, Mesclun greens, pickled zucchini, Meyer lemon and garlic aioli on a brioche bun. At a four-star hotel, you expect something special. Soul at the Joseph is exactly that.

Had drinks at this bar while staying there this past weekend. Absolutely the best dirty martinis I’ve ever had, excellent service overall. Couldn’t catch everyone’s name but Seph during late night shift, the woman working alongside Seph, and the bartender who served us Saturday morning/brunch shift were all talented, kind and a perfectly good time. Highly recommended and thank you to the bartenders!

On Monday evening I had an excellent visit with Burch. I have been a regular for some time and his service didn’t disappoint. He made some great cocktails and shared one of the bar’s cocktail books. Two days later, I returned and had Jordan G as a bartender. She was next level. Every day you affect the mood, heart rate, and sleep patterns of every person you meet. Knowing that, I firmly believe the biggest impact you can make is sharing a laugh. Jordan did just that! She had the entire bar engaged and lively the entire time. It was a supernatural feat! Her energy and commitment to excellent service is admirable and she is very much appreciated. I can’t wait to see her in action again! Burch, too!
