I love to come here when I'm hungry but lunch has passed and it's too early for dinner. I specifically come for the tamales. Be prepared to break out your high school Spanish because no one here speaks English, but that's how you know it's good. I've had other things to eat here that were just OK, but the tamales are amazing. I tried the Flan today and it was fantastic as well, even if it was served in a plastic disposable cup. The atmosphere is lacking...
Before everything was perfect, fast and delicious, I always marked 25 minutes before picking up my order, only to arrive to pick up and they never had my order ready, I had to wait another 20 minutes for them to give me my food even though the place was empty, They no longer answer the phone in the mornings.
The food is pretty tasty, just got sweet bread though. However, the bread is a hit-or-miss kinda thing. Croissants and conchas were pretty good, donuts are a little stale/hard, and muffins are hard.Also tried a breakfast torta. That one was alright but a little expensive for what it is.Service was gosh awful though but perhaps it was still too early and they just needed coffee.All in all, at this point, I wouldn't recommend it unless you really need a quick cup of coffee...
