Service was terrible. The bartender with straight brown hair let us order one drink and food and then never talked to us again. Charged our card before we were ready. We wanted to order another drink but it felt like she wanted us to leave. The food was ok - nothing amazing. Portions are gigantic. Overall had a really bad experience. Feel like if you were just there for drinks at the bar it would be fine. Definitely don't go to eat and sit for awhile.

Thrown out service dog after being provided paperwork. So sad, incredibly disappointed & AFTER we had ordered food and two drinks each. The “busboy” had pet and given treats twice until being kicked out too.

I wish that I could give zero stars. They kicked us out because we had a service dog and this is after we showed paperwork and followed all service dog protocol. I let them know that it was illegal and they still processed to kick us. We had been there for 2 hours already and had open tabs along with the staff coming and asking to pet, there was also 5 other dogs owned by staff also inside that were not asked to leave due to them being pets. This place has gone downhill and we will never be back.

I'm a not young man. Sat night with my designated drinking buddy, I roll into standard for a drink to sit by the fire pit. Incredibly nice staff. Bartender listened to my older man (I'm 53) humor and made me feel welcome. Brook was cool and respectful and was very genuine (acting or otherwise, I don't care). It's a younger crowd bar but I felt welcome as a high street veteran.

I was at this place and was having a good time until a misunderstanding happened and a toxic person wanted to fight me while I was leaving over something that did not directly involve him. Security isn't great. I also was asked to leave and not the person who wanted to fight me.
Great place to eat in Columbus! Parking can be a challenge as any of the restaurants on High Street can be…but it’s worth the effort to find a spot.

The bouncer with the mustache was unreasonably hostile towards my friends. Refusing entry to my friend's boyfriend because he had joggers on, which led us all to leave. On our way out, I overheard him using offensive language towards my friend and threatening violence, "someone get this b*tch away from me before I hit her." When I confronted him, he directed similar abuse at me and insulted our group, calling every girl a "c***." I later heard he even told my friend's boyfriend to go die. This behavior reflects poorly on the establishment, and it's the first time I've experienced such mistreatment from a bouncer.

We had such a fantastic visit at Standard for brunch Bloody Marys!! Such a creative way to do brunch drinks - they have an entire bar spread to choose from of different tomato/salsa style bases, hot sauces, cheeses, veggies, and so many goodies like onion rings, mini corn dogs, bacon, sausage etc. The staff is always so kind and ready to help find interesting things I didn’t know they offer. With all those toppings - it’s like a meal in itself. We all know Standard to be a staple Columbus bar, and I’m excited to recommend this spot for meals as well!
