Subject: Disappointing Experience at Subway – Poor Service and Coupon Denial
Yesterday, I stopped by Subway to grab a Club sandwich, but unfortunately, I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a food establishment in years.
The young man behind the counter was wearing an earpiece and appeared to be speaking in a different language to someone else while simultaneously trying to assist me and two other customers. He seemed distracted, distant, and disengaged—no eye contact, no greeting, no smile. It felt like his only goal was to rush us in and out.
When I politely asked for extra spinach on my sandwich and said I’d be happy to pay for it, his response was rude and unkind. To make matters worse, when I presented a valid Subway coupon, he refused to accept it for the Club sandwich. However, the coupon clearly stated that it excludes only wraps, The Beast, and the Garlic Roast Beef—not Club sandwiches. Had I seen otherwise, I would not have ordered it.
Frustrated and disappointed, I chose not to pay for the sandwich and left empty-handed. It’s disheartening to see a business prioritize saving a couple of dollars over offering a welcoming and respectful customer experience.
I’m sharing this so others can be aware of the poor service at this particular location. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and retrains their staff on basic customer service and honoring clearly printed offers.

The absolute worst Subway in Columbus customer service is horrible the staff basically don’t wanna be there at all iv’e been there once when the store should be open and has the open sign on and the guy was outside in his car sitting and once i tried to use the drive thru screen that didn’t work pressed the help button no one answered and when i walked in ad asked if it was working because i pressed and waited the girl didn’t respond to that even

I’m usually not one to leave reviews, but I used to work at this location and I love the owner. I ordered a DoorDash late at night and it got to me in perfect condition. Everything was so perfect and most of the time with DoorDash. it’s pretty questionable so the fact that the staff was able to make that happen shows that the magic is still alive within the store. ❣️
Everytime I come they close before closing time at 10:30, would not show menu & very disrespectful, horrible customer service. Said he was in bathroom for 20 min.
Went to go in lobby it's closed dude in there just on his phone not working so went to drive thru and placed our order on the kiosk that wasn't working properly went to the window to pay he said whatever the total was we get receipt and it's more than what kiosk said so they just adding prices to whatever not going back there again if I could give a zero I would!
No customer service very bad attitude
This was the cleanest restaurant with the best freshest food I’ve ever been at. all of the customer service representatives were very polite and very respectable. I would highly recommend the subway to anyone that wants to eat fresh and have a wonderful experience.
Miss Maya was so pleasant and professional with prompt and friendly service we definitely need more people like her in the food industry

The owner will try to persuade you very heavily to buy soup and if you say no he will give you attitude the rest of the time you are there. I tried to use an official coupon cut out of the subway coupon newspaper insert and was told: “I don’t accept coupons, I make no money”. He also skimps on the amount of vegetables that you get on top. Over the past two days, he has been towing teachers and parents of the elementary school next door from his unused back parking lot to be petty. I’m never going here again. The sub was fine except for the lack of vegetables.

Wore headphones the entire time and told us 5 min and resulted in 15 min wait and gave us an extra sandwich we didn't order? Lol 😅 normally I don't give many reviews but this one is um maybe just not wear headphones in front of customers it's rude especially when you don't hear us for a min 😂

Used the kiosk and it wasn't working properly. I made a custom order yet somehow I got a pizza sub when I didn't order it. I get the same order all the time so I know I didn't ask for marinara sauce on my sandwich. Nor did I want extra bacon cause I sure didn't press it.

If i could give 0 stars i would. They’re rude and racist. Don’t go to this subway! They don’t cook they’re food all the way thru horrible customer and environment!
