Outstanding enchiladas. And I’m from Nuevo Mexico. The jamaica (hibiscus) drink was also great. Authentic—I was the only gringo eating there. Wish the containers were foil or lined cardboard instead of styrofoam, but hey, it’s what’s inside, not the packaging.
I love this taco truck! It’s right in my neighborhood and the family is so kind. I love these people. The food is great too- but el campesino is a place where there are amazing people. AND delicious tacos. lol

I ordered four asada tacos, and while they are quite small and come with grilled onions, they are absolutely bursting with flavor. You can choose between a spicy red sauce or a tangy green tomatillo sauce. Highly recommend!
