I think this place is a front. I couldn't stand to stay long enough to get My food. The " sound system " had a blown speaker but was still cranked so loud that My waitress and I kept saying "what" to each other. I told Her the music was hurting My ears and asked if it could please be turned down. She just smiled and didn't answer so I said " well if You're not going to turn it down than I will be leaving". She just kept smiling so I got up and left. This place was a Gem when it was under previous ownership. I miss Jaunitas!

Food was not good and very pricey. Trying to tell us that after the first Chip's and Salsa that it would be $2.50. Will never go back their again after learning new owner. Taco Bell is better then that place! Del Taco also is better. Better value at those places's.

They have a serious fruit fly problem! I couldn’t even sit there and enjoy my food cause I was constantly fighting away fruit flys. They landed on my food almost immediately after the waitress sat it on the table. The waitress was also rude, when I complained about the fruit flys she literally yelled “OKAY!” at me, rolled her eyes and walked away. She also looked high, her eyes were blood shot red, she wore thin black leggings with a thong on her misshaped bbl. Not family friendly, the health department would probably shut them down if they did a random visit. I will NEVER return!

The gnats at this place are awful I've been here several times, we had to move seats and doing that made it NO better. I had to sit with my food covered with napkins. At that point I was just ready to go I got the rest of my food to go. And since it's that bad out in the seating area that makes me wonder how the kitchen is where my food is being prepared. Fix your gnat problem ???

Today, my beautiful girl and I decided to return to have dinner at Juanitas after so long, and the only thing we found was bad service and bad food. The only thing that tastes the same is the beer.

Juanita's used to be an amazing restaurant, but apparently it is under it new ownership and management. They had the same menu but the food was by far inferior, dried out and not matching the menu leaving off key items. Our dish was supposed to come with beans and rice which it did not come with, onions Peppers zucchini in a simmering tomato sauce and all we got was dried up meat in a bowl with some corn tortillas. When this was juanita's, it was my favorite dish, how can they keep the same menu and to change the dish so much? As bad as that is that is not nearly the worst part. There were four waitresses and a three customers at tables and all of the waitresses were drinking at the bar instead of servicing their customers. we tried to leave shortly after receiving our food but it took over a half an hour to get them to bring us a box and a check. the whole time the waitresses and the chef were all drinking at the bar, at least one of them was vaping at the bar and the only one doing any work appeared to be the bus girl and the dishwasher in the back. We will never go back, I doubt that they'll stay in business more than a few months. If you're the owner of this business and you don't know what's going on you need to Be on site because you're about to lose your entire business and I don't know how much money you invested in this, but you wasted it. Not only was the food and the service terrible, but you're wasting inventory (of which inventory you actually have because they didn't even have green enchilada sauce or apparently beans and rice) because the entire staff seemed to be drinking your bottles of beer and taking shots instead of working and the food is dried out, lacking key ingredients and half the things we tried to order they said they were out of.
Not to mention the Flies.

We went to one of our favorite restaurants which we thought was still Juanita‘s last night. When we arrived, we realized the ownership had changed hands. The food was cold and small flies were all over the restaurant and all over our food. There were flies even in the restroom. The service was slow as there was only one server and one bartender in the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, music was good.
Bathroom are discussing and nats everywhere they didn’t have most food we asked for and soda machine was down they only had 2 kinds of sodas also food came out cold

This is not the same JUANITAS ‼️ this is a new owned spot and it’s not the same at all. I have ordered the birria for 2 years the quality is not the same at all wow. I don’t like the new set up at all but I wish them the best. The food was not good.
