Food was OK, not always the best Indian in the area but they did a huge weekend buffet business with chaat tables, dosa, etc. As of October 2020 the restaurant is closed with signage removed, another victim of the Route 161 carnage: Pizza Hut, Joe's Crab Shack, Golden Corral, Ruby Tuesday's, La Scala.

3rd class business owner, has no manners to inform the public whether they are bankrupt and closed permanently or reopening elsewhere. Such manner less business owners do not deserve to open any businesses

The place is permanently closed. Do not come here

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant and I appreciate that it is halal (the only halal restaurant which serves Chinese food in Columbus that I know of). My only issue is that I have a very upset stomach EVERY time I eat there. It isn't just Chinese or Indian food, I eat at other places with no issues. This makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen...

Out for groceries at Trader Joe's & wanted arry out so we drove to Tadka. No notice on door, thru window could see banquet room empty of furniture. Phone is disconnected. What a lose to the community. It appears they may be connected to other Tadka locations in US as we found one in New York City

Tadka has such a huge menu not only on their Indian side, but equally for their Indo-Chinese menu. I love being able to try new dishes. I particularly love their Indo-Chinese options because there are not many places that offer this in the Columbus area, and a plus side is that they serve halal meat. I have dined inside their restaurant several times whether for a family dinner or as a guest at someone's part in their banquet side. I like to order for carry out as well. In their Indian menu, the malai kofta stood out for me. It was truly delicious. The murgh makhani (butter chicken) was tasty too. I did not care too much for the goat curry (I felt there was still a smell) nor the reshmi chicken kebab. On the Indo-Chinese side, my favorite is the chili chicken. If you don't like spicy, stay away from this dish. The mongolian chicken is delicious, but a little more on the sweeter side. Another favorite is the eggplant chili honey, I have never seen this dish anywhere else and it is truly unique and delicious. I wish they had an option to serve fried rice with these entrees for an up charge, but they only come with steamed rice. I order the fried rice separately because it completes the meal. We end up having left overs because the portions are big. One comment for carry out orders that I want to make to the restaurant is to please stop asking for credit card information over the phone. It is not safe nor fair to do. If I were to order online, I can obviously pay, but if I call to inquire about dishes and order via phone, please just wait until I get there to charge my card. You take our name and number for a reason.

Best buffet in Columbus! Went for Saturday special buffet and the buffet was just $15 for an incredible number of food options! Service and food was amazing.

If I could give a lesser rating, I would gladly give one. They have a PATHETIC, RUDE, manager OLD LADY who thinks she is the boss of customers. She is rude to pretty everyone around I could see. The food was below average and when complained, she says we don’t know the taste of North Indian delicacies.!! Really.?? Also, they had a very bad smell in the chili chicken they served, Biriyani was almost stale.! WORST INDIAN FOOD EVER IN OHIO!

I've driven past Tadka several times but have never stopped in. Came in with a large party yesterday for dinner and was overall very impressed. I had the chicken buriyani, which was freshly made and baked with a naan bread topping. The portions are generous. They also had a nice kids menu, chicken tenders, noodles, sticky rice ect. Food was delicious and very flavorful. Everything was served in the most beautiful silver dishes. Service was absolutely amazing. If the waiters overheard we needed something, they brought it out immediately. If you're a mango fan, you'll love the mango lassi drink. Everyone in the group was impressed with the food and overall service. Large parking lot and easy to find.

I come to this unique restaurant every couple of days since I like the special air that is part of this place. The staff is exceptionally helpful and experienced. The service is awfully efficient. Needless to say, the food they cook is great. I visited more than once and I was never disappointed. The price is fair. I suggest this place to all my friends.

Went there for dinner tonight and had a great experience. Not only was the food delicious, but our waitress was super nice, and helped me pick out the perfect meal. She brought extra toppings and showed me how to "eat the chana bhatura the Indian way". And I'm so glad she did - it was delicious! My dad (a huge Indian food lover) even said it was the best Indian food he's ever had. We can't wait to return!
