stopped here for breakfast on a thursday morning before heading back home to pittsburgh, and the food alone made me want to stay! staff is very friendly, quick service, and the restaurant overall has a chill vibe. outdoor seating is available, but we sat inside next to a window and it was quiet. the pancakes & french toast were DELISH and the coffee was really good. can’t wait to come back soon!
I know I’ve found a great place when I’m angry I don’t have more meals I could eat there. I hit Tasi up for breakfast twice in my recent trip to Columbus, and it was stellar both times. Delicious menu items, a great coffee/tea selection, and friendly service!
Banana French toast and Greek omelet were tasty; mimosas (peach and lavender-blueberry) were not. They tasted like champagne without the juice. Our server was attentive and did bring us "syrup shots" to add to our drinks, but the taste was still mediocre at best. The outdoor eatery section was decent; unfortunately, bathrooms weren't sanitary
Went here for breakfast because just off N. High Street where our hotel was located. . Large outdoor dining area which was shaded for breakfast and a pretty large indoor area as well. Lots and lots of choices for breakfast, including some creative ones. At our table of four we had the Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Burrito, Challah French Toast and Greek Omelette. All four were very very good, but the standouts were the Huevos Rancheros and the Challah French Toast. The rancheros were covered with more crushed tomatoes and onion salsa than I am used to, but it was very flavorful and it made excellent additional topping and dipping for the Black Bean and Queso Fresco Tortilla. The eggs were prepared as ordered, over medium. So this dish was a great hit and is highly recommended. The French Toast was very large and prepared perfectly for the combination of crunch and softness that good French Toast has. Served with just the right amount of maple syrup and the Caramelized Bananas were a great addition. The breakfast burrito was nicely filled but nothing special and the Greek omelette was at least 3 eggs and loaded with vegetables and feta. The sausage on the side was pretty ordinary. The coffee and tea served were also outstanding. One of the best coffees any of us had ever had, and the tea was creatively served. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and all food care at a timely manner. All in all, for breakfast, this restaurant is a winner.
First time there I liked it food was delicious services was good only problem was we were seated to close to another couple one guy was talking so loud it seemed like he was at are table besides that 5 star restaurant
The food was DELICIOUS!! Very filling and tasteful!! The service was great and the atmosphere was inviting!! Will definitely be back!!
Tasi was excellent. Good food, good vibe. Great service. I'm trying plant based now so there weren't many options, but what I had was delicious. Husband had ham, cheese, and egg bagel. He said it was awesome.
The prices were very budget-friendly, and the portions were large. I would definitely come back again, just for the price. The food was decent, and my friend really enjoyed her pasta. However, be aware of parking on the streets as the police will issue tickets even if you are only 10 minutes late. I take full responsibility for this. The restaurant had booths inside, and many people came alone to eat. The bathroom was clean, and they had two large tables to accommodate large groups.
Great place for breakfast and lunch or all day! Great coffee and lattes! Service is extremely good! Good atmosphere! Clean and open kitchen! It's fun just being there! A good place to hang out
We got very lucky when we visited this location because we were able to grab a seat right away. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the meal. My husband and I were visiting from Chicago and and expected way more from the $65 bill. We ordered the veggie wrap, blueberry pancakes and the bagel sandwich. The wrap was soggy, the eggs were over cooked and it lacked flavor overall. The pancake batter was overworked which resulted in gummy pancakes and the bagel sandwich was lackluster for the price. It’s not worth the price, the wait (if there is one) or the search for street parking.

Getting seated at first was quite complicated. There was a sign in the front stating "wait to be assisted." After being seated outside was served by not only one, but two different servers. Fairly quick service but they were packed for brunch this Saturday. Food was very good though! Highly recommend the salmon Benedict. The other dish was the black bean patties and poached egg. The bastad (toast) was very hard unfortunately. The mimosas, regular and hibiscus were both delicious!
The food here was great and the fruit bowl was not just cantaloupe and melon, which is a rare and beautiful find. I do feel it was a touch on the pricier side and there was no AC making it a bit difficult to eat on the hot day we went. But certainly check it out on a day it isn't a thousand degrees and muggy, and I bet it's super nice in there! Cool atmosphere to.
Tasi is a hidden gem, tucked in off a back street just a block from High Street in the Short North. Very small, we were seated quickly and enjoyed quick service. The menu boards span the entire length of the room, with plenty of interesting options. I enjoyed a cuban stacked with meat, and my companion enjoyed an egg scramble. There were several other things I'd like to try, so I will definitely be back! My only complaint is that the music was quite loud, which made conversation difficult. Otherwise, a definite must-try!
One street back behind the main road, so it's a little ducked off. Which made it perfect to sit outside without the heavy flow of traffic. I ordered the Callah French toast and the following sides: roasted potatoes with garlic and rosemary, two scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage. Although the flavor was the prices were a little high. Everything is all a la carte so I ended up paying about $27 for for breakfast/brunch which is on the high side. It would be nice for some of the main breakfast items to come with a least 1 side. I usually don't get any fruit on top of my breakfast food, but those caramelized bananas were everything! Everything! It added a great flavor to the front toast. They were out of ice when my coworker and I went so we didn't order the cocktails we wanted. The staff was very friendly and quick.
This is a great place to grab breakfast any day of the week. They have a pretty solid fixed menu along with changing menu items, pastries, etc. From my breakfast experience: The steak was flavorful, juicy, and had a nice sear; potatoes were pillowy soft and had great flavor. The smoked salmon was also extremely tasty. There's nothing complex, but everything was interesting enough for me to say it was all excellent - the definition of "simple, but excellent." I wouldn't ask for anything differently from those breakfast dishes. The only lunch option I've tried was the fish tacos. The tilapia was pretty bland, but the garnishes added some punch to it. all the fish needed was a little salt and it'd be a very good dish. Servers and owners at Tasi are very cool. Very worthy spot of visiting, tucked away from all of the Short North chaos!
