Everything Was Busting. BONE APPLE TEETH LOL No honestly the dumplings are to die for & very hearty. Eggrolls delicious as well as the crab Rangoon. Only sent one duck one soy and one mustard sauce, thought that was odd for a big order. Rice could have been fresher but I would definitely eat there again.

I’m fairly new to Columbus and I was craving chicken and broccoli and found this place. I called in and the guy on the phone was really nice and repeated the order back at the end to confirm. I ended up getting an order of the chicken and broccoli with lo mein and then an order of the green Thai curry with fried rice. Both meals came with an egg roll , I think it was chicken but I can be wrong. Pickup was easy and the place inside looked nice and clean if anyone was to dine In. On tasting I give the green Thai curry with chicken a 9/10 and the chicken and broccoli a 8.5/10. When considering how well priced everything was and the huge portions, I give this place an overall 10/10 for my experience. Thanks you guys at taste of orient .

The food is always super hot and fresh. Orders are ready very quickly. It tastes great to bat. Also some of the lowest prices you can find for Asian takeout these days. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been looking for a great spot for American Chinese food in Columbus, specifically in terms of fried tofu. Most places seem to get frozen pre-fried tofu with no breading or crispness. Taste of Orient is the real deal with breaded and fried tofu that keeps a crispness even when covered in sauce. I can confirm that the General Tso tofu is really great and pretty well priced for how much food you get—I’m 6’5” so I eat a lot and a large is plenty for two meals. If I had a complaint it would be that the sauce could lean more savory/spicy and a bit less sweet, but it’s not a big complaint. Without question the best vegetarian American Chinese food I’ve had in Columbus.

First time trying this place, and last time. I've been eating Chinese food for decades and I've never had a place put my rice under my entree. I know some places that serve lunch entree's put rice on side of entree but this was dinner. Overall it didn't really matter bcuz the pork with oriental vegetables I got was disgusting. It had a weird flavor that was off-putting, the pork was slimy and the veggies were really mushy. The egg rolls were ok and the won ton soup was ok but I'll definitely never eat here again.

This is some EXCELLENT food dad gumm-it!

Portion sizes are extremely generous especially the wonton soup. A quart of it is $4, and there are a ton of tasty, beautiful wontons in there.

fast service...and a free egg roll as a bonus. Not sure if that was a mistake or not, but it was much appreciated.

Come eat here!

I've gotten take out from here twice now. Super delicious food and great portions for a great price. This is my new go-to for Chinese food here in Columbus. I've tried the sweet and sour chicken, general tsos, crab rangoons, and fried pork dumplings. Everything has been tasty, hot, and fresh. Can't wait to try more from here!

Went in,ordered, waited. Not busy. Picked up to take home after a Dr's appointment. Drove an hour home to find the Thai hot and sour soup, was not there. Also left a nice tip.

Cbus is blessed with many great stripmall restaurants. This isn't one of them but tell ya what: this place has the best tonkotsu pork ramen for under 12 bucks that you're likely to find in the city. Good Asian food good people and low prices. Every city needs a place like this.
