Went to Texas Roadhouse in New Albany today for dinner with my family and it was a fantastic dining experience. Food was great, our servers were amazing, atmosphere was excellent, manager was personable and the entire experience was outstanding. I am typically very disappointed when I eat out so I always expect to be disappointed. Texas Roadhouse has renewed my faith in eating out and I look forward to a return visit.

My kids asked for a regular sized cup for the big kids ranger meal as they drink alot. They charged me for both the kids meal drinks when they are supposed to be included. If the waiter had told me there would be an additional charge for the regular size cup I would had said no. I argued my case but ultimately was told by our waiter that's the way it is now and he couldn't take it off the bill according to the manager. Never had an issue at other Texas Roadhouse locations. Won't be back.

Gave my name and phone number to the hostess. 30 min later I went to check where I was on the list and they didn't have me on the list. I had to wait another 30 minutes for a grand total of an hour wait. No apology from the staff.

Went for early dinner around 3 and sat in the bar .. waited over 20 mins for a server . 6 0z filet was not 6 oz probably 4 oz. Waitress forgot a salad .. rushed us to cash out at the table when we were still eating . Where is the manager in this place ? First few times it was good but this visit was not good at all .

Taylor was an amazing server! She anticipated every need. Hit every step of service with ease. We never had to ask for a refill. She didn’t even skimp on portions if we needed extra butter or sour cream. Food runner was prompt. Host was friendly. It was refreshing to have great service as soon as we walked in the door and as we departed. We even received goodbyes from other employees on our way out. Kudos to management! Heck of team you have there.

We dined here on Monday, October 15, 2025. Our server was Kathleen, She was very warm, personable and accommodating. our food was excellent. If you get there before 5 o’clock, you can take advantage of the early dining experience for $12.99 where you get a smaller portion, which is adequate for us. Management is doing something right, they seem to cover all their bases.
