Bobby is a hell of a bartender. Ask him for his pickle martini.

The atmosphere and service were excellent. Bobby serves great drinks, and he knows how to make special drinks that meet your taste. Customers were friendly and easy to talk to. Nice outside patio.

super lowkey, right in the middle of a neighborhood, GREAT VIBES!! thurmans around the corner gave us an hour and half table time so we patronized for the first time, and was not disappointed. cute patio with plenty of space, solid beer menu, and good spot in the heart of german village to get a great feel of the neighborhood

Very uncomfortable and off-putting environment- the vibe is just off. Kitchen has been closed the last three times I've tried to eat here. Bartenders not very knowledgeable or welcoming. Seems like it's always closed. I'm not really sure what to make of the place.

Great neighborhood dive. Nothing spectacular but good enough. Pizza is ok, but drinks are measured and watered down.

They've changed the food to some "pop up kitchen" and it is terrible! We got a Margherita Pizza and a Pepperoni Pizza. The Margherita Pizza was flavorless (hardly an exaggeration), and the Pepperoni actually tasted bad. The 3 of us didn't even finish our food and left disappointed.Mid-City, if you've seen your sales decline, its bc of your food. Please get a new pop up kitchen in there.

First off the bartender Jesse is fantastic. Thanks for the margaritas they were spot on. What a great place to hang out and grab some good drinks and great pizza. Limited food menu but still fun.

Such a fun place and dog friendly too. We've ordered the mushroom pizza and a dill pickle pizza previously and loved them both. Pizzas include 4 generous / thick slices. Filling enough we can share one. During our most recent visit, my guy ordered an Italian sub. He loved it! I wish I remembered to take pictures. Ugh! Expect to wait a while for your food (usually 45+ min). We don't care though because we enjoy ourselves and the bar! Service and staff are great. Highly recommend!!!

Great patio vibe. It’s chill and welcoming. Love the addition of Pie of the Tiger. Glad it’s in the neighborhood.
5/25/23 update: pizza style has changed. It’s now square with a thick crust - think Detroit style pizza. Pie still tastes great with apparently high quality ingredients.1/14/22 update: still the best pizza in cbusBest pizza in cbus

We came here for the first time on a Friday night. It was busy, but not too busy. We found a great place to sit, the drinks were great, and the pizza was really good. There isn't any table service but that's OK. Just walk up to the bar, order your drinks and carry them back to the table. Never a long wait. We'll be back.

Where is your favorite bar in Columbus? Mid City Garage might be mine. In combination with Pie of the Tiger you've got a fantastic spot for "where can we grab a great drink with something to eat without over-thinking it?". Not only does Mid City have a great vibe, picnic tables, and cool decor, like most great bars it has fantastic bar staff and really local clientele from German Village, Merion Village, and surrounding neighborhoods. If you were to visit Columbus and wanted to stop by a place "the locals go to", Mid City Garage HAS to be on your short list. My recommendation: get a Delirium Tremens beer, and grab a pizza from Pie if the Tiger inside, and relax and enjoy the people watching or strike up a conversation, especially if you are from out of town!

VERY disappointed (and sick) after trying this place. The bartenders were very rude after attempting to order drinks multiple times. When they did not have any red win on the menu, we asked what other options they had but with no help nor clear answers. After walking back to our table, the girl stormed out and slammed a 2 oz glass of wine (not what was ordered) on the table, proceeding to storm back in.The food was horrible, cold, and has left all of us feeling sick. Ordering the brisket nachos per recommendation, they were inedible. The “cheese” was cold and congealed, completely gelatinous - served over stale crumbs from a bag of store brand, generic tortilla chips. When we asked if the cheese or nachos could be reheated, the person serving the food at the window merely responded that her manager would be back soon. She looked at our food, looked at the cheese in the pot, wrinkled her nose, and responded, “yea that’s cold it doesn’t look good.” She did not offer any remedied nor replacements. When I shrugged and said “ok I guess I just won’t eat this” her only response was to shrug and say, “sorry.”After only a few bits of the nachos, I am absolutely nauseous and sick to my stomach this morning. This is likely the worse dining experience I have ever had!Kitchen mishaps happen and I can completely empathize! It’s a challenge to run a restaurant! However, the abysmal and rude staff who refused to help remedy the situation is what made a less than ideal food experience turn amazingly bad.
