First and foremost it's a food truck with two picnic bench tables out front, so if it's raining just order ahead. I'd also recommend getting there early because they sell out fast and with good reason! The brisket is mandatory. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal also. The biscuit was dry, but still good. Sauces were very flavorful as well which was nice. The habanero mustard sauce is great! The potato salad was probably my favorite I've ever had. This place is absolutely worth trying, but get there early and order ahead of the weather is bad.

Uh?? What happened to this business. Sorry, I hate to do this, but have to keep it real. Business owners need to understand what it means to deliver consistency. My first time back in a few months and the baked beans and mac and cheese recipe changed! Honestly, I was disgusted. I took one bite and said no thank you! Right in the trash. I also ordered a pulled pork sandwich and he even changed the buns which I hated. They were like a pretzel bun or something weird. WHO EVEN LIKES A PRETZEL BUN FOR BBQ? It was just a bit much of a ton of bread taking away from the meat. I’m not a pretzel bun fan either. Just give me a traditional bun and extra points if it’s a little toasted. Why change your food? I was a repeat customer. The pulled pork was a little drier today too. The brisket was also dry and allllllll fat. Hardly any meat on brisket slices. I’m telling you, his meat didn’t use to be like this. I fed it to my dog. I put so many people onto this business just for him to change all of his recipes? Woops, I made a mistake. I’ll be sure to tell ALL of those people never mind he changed everything for the worst. Hopefully the owner will understand that he gained his popularity by what he was already doing. Changing all of his recipes now will be his downfall. Also, he gave me a piece of white bread untoasted. Thanks for the slice of plain white bread dude. Delicious

Restaurantji Recommends
Food has always been consistently excellent.
the sides need majorrrr help. unfortunately, the mac and cheese was genuinely the worst ive had in my life, and the baked beans were very acidic and not at all sweet or flavorful. the barbecue sauce was gelatinous and kind of weird. the brisket and ribs were okay, though! and the people were nice.

Does this place even exist? Has it ever? Because I've showed up at least six times and there's just a dirt lot, an old weathered picnic table and some rusted-out smokers. No signs of life.

I don’t know if this place has an actual restaurant, but we had the food truck version. Very small proportions, they posted a picture on their Facebook of a Tex mac bowl (only reason why we stopped to try the food truck), and the lady didn’t even know what we were talking about. Very greasy, paid extra for the brisket on top and got very small and few pieces of it. Very small proportions for $16. Also the corn bread was very dry. We were standing at the window waiting to order and the lady taking orders just stood there talking very loudly and cussing at her coworker. Definitely do not remember the food truck version of this place.
Amazing! From the Brisket, baked beans, and don't get me started on the Crack cake. I will definitely be back.
