It was a high school reunion, it was really nice that we didn't have a raunchy band drowning out the conversation, the food was pretty good and the group brought in Luigi's Pizza from Hilliard. I love repurposed barns, and much of the old massive timbers are exposed, it's now a community venue with a gym and swimming pool. Parking could be tight for a big group but we had no problem finding a space, however the caterer had to get a vehicle moved to be able to get...
The barn is really nice, the gym downstairs is well maintained. But, what did they do with the trees that were separating the pool from the parking lot view? The trees provide good privacy. Now everyone can just watch you lounging or swimming. And the view of the dumpster from the pool is amazing. Good job making the area look worse. Put the trees back, it looked better. I don't know why companies that buy properties feel like they need to make changes to things that look...
