We had the same waiter as the first time we went. Thought he was in training the first time. He was a bit full of himself and was definitely not very attentive. After our food was delivered he disappeared and was more concerned about doing his end of night chores than checking on us. Had yo flag him down several times to ask for drinks and then waited. Did not offer dessert and it was for a birthday dinner. He wanted to clear off the table before he would take our group photo. Won't be back.
You will have a fantastic view of Columbus from the patio. The menu has something for almost everyone. We took advantage of happy hour and had some incredible drinks and appetizers. Be prepared for a continuous pounding beat of music (which detracted from our dining experience).
Chairs by the windows uncomfortable. PA music not needed—-just adds to the noisey environment.
Great view of downtown, definitely the highlight. And the waiter, Sebastian was personable and informative. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to it. My margarita was oddly sweet with a “salt wall” that just didn't work. Steaks came unseasoned—we had to ask for salt and pepper—and there were no sides or even a salad included. We had to buy separately even though other entrees included sides. Overall, the setting was nice, but the meal itself was average at best.
Hello. We purchased ur VIP tickets for July 3rd., for a table outside. We had no idea and it was Never mentioned that we would be expected to share a table with strangers!!!! The line to even get a drink was sooooo long!!!! This was a huge huge disappointment to us!!!!! We left after being there 15-20 minutes! We booked VIP seating and reserved a table under the impression that it would be only our table! And I’ve messaged staff and haven’t received Any response!
The best Sea Bass I've had. Drinks were fantastic, salads were great, and dessert was awesome. So yeah overall it's one of my favorites now
It took 15 mins for anyone to acknowledge us when we're sat down. Wait staff was slow and not super friendly.
Food was wonderful, service was terrible. We had to ask for the check 3 times, the waitress never came back so we missed happy hour, we had to ask for wine glasses and beer glasses, and she brought out the wrong drinks twice. The food was excellent and the kitchen staff had their stuff together, but front of house did not.
The food, drinks, & service were lovely and so was the view of the city!
David K was a great server! Drinks and food came out quickly and the view from the patio was amazing!

First time visiting. Had a great view of the city. Great happy hour menu. Welcome glass of champagne was a great bonus.
The food at the restaurant was outstanding! Three in our party had steak and I had shrimp cocktail and the twice baked potato. Even the cheese cake and raspberry cake were delicious. Tay, our server, was outstanding. We will definitely be back!
We enjoyed our evening at the Boathouse. Happy Hour is until 630, so we lucked out with some very good cocktails @ $7/ea. We also had some HH apps - Calamari (luke warm, soggy, fishy - did not like) and the Brussels Sprouts (inventive flavor - delish)! The wine list is slim, but you can BYOB with a corkage fee (we will do that next time). We ordered more apps to share for dinner - Tuna w/ crispy rice (tasty but rice was coldish - could be better next time) + shrimp crudo (didn't care for it, more of a personal preference versus anything else) + Crab Cake (which we all liked the best of all the food). Food service was fast. Drink service was slower. Our waitress was very friendly and enjoyable and did a good job. We were impressed with the interior of the restaurant - very beachy vibe, good decor, and a GREAT VIEW of downtown Columbus. We sat inside and were happy with our table/view. Outside dining looked festive as well. There could be some improvements in some portions of the facility, but hopefully that will come with time as they can reinvest in the business. I would recommend at minimum trying happy hour for the drinks and the view, and we will go back to try some additional menu items soon!
Everything was very nice! Food was great and the happy hour pricing was excellent! Service was a bit slow but understandable as it's still new. My only complaint was that it was very hot inside the restaurant. It's July and there were fireplaces running. It looks nice but made the restaurant uncomfortable. Staff also had to run outside and the door was left open often which created more heat. Other than the temperature, we had a great evening. I'm sure I'll be back in the future.
Food came out at different times, shrimp was ice cold and had to be sent back, miso glazed seabass was extremely salty, and the wedge salad came without the bacon crumbles.
