The Caffeine Element - Prior Cafe

Good convenient coffee. The branding doesn’t make sense though. It is called the caffeine element but caffeine is not an element it is a compound. They even double down on this branding by displaying the chemical formula for caffeine on the door, which is clearly composed of multiple elements. Normally fine ok I get it but this place is attached to a library on a college campus. The pun is too much of a stretch to pull off.

My wife was having some cardiac tests at the Ross which left me with lots of free time. Needed some caffeine as the appointment was very early. Got a large cup with an espresso shot. Not gonna lie, one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. Made my morning.

This was a nice place for a coffee while walking through campus. You probably won't know that it's there in the library unless you're looking for it. I only had a drip coffee, but it was tasty, and the staff who served it were friendly.They have a small, somewhat cramped seating area, but there were seats available when I stopped in.

Iced coffee was delicious and the muffins always hit the spot! Unfortunately, on numerous occasions I’ve overheard a worker with black hair make rude remarks about customers and even other staff. I hope they do something about her attitude :/

Jen, the manager of this coffee shop is the best person ever. Food and drinks: 5 stars. Jen: a billion stars. Drip coffee is delicious (and effective). Lots of pastries and little lunch items. Affordable and right next to the hospital, and connected to the Health Sciences Library. Did I mention I love Jen?

I am a regular customer in this hotel, the food here is very good, the management is very good, the environment is beautiful, I like it very much.

Discovered this café just by chance, as I toured the Ohio State University medical center campus. It’s warm and cozy and offers the best service in town. The staff members are so sweet and the manager makes the best cup of coffee! I look forward to coming back when I’m in town again!

Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible entrance, plenty of room to sit and read the newspaper, and talk with colleagues.

Bice people, perfect coffee

A cosy little coffee shop near the medical center. Come in for the coffee, stay for the good conversations with the cool lady who runs the shop.
