ordered via Uber eats. The flavor of the food was good but my chicken was dry, it also looked like it was sitting out all day like I got an old piece. I would order again if I picked it up not online delivery.
My boyfriend ordered the Jerk chicken wings with Caribbean Mac and cheese. I got a build a bowl with jerk chicken, rice and peas and fried tomatoes. First and foremost, the description of the Jer wings says that you get seven wings. They gave my boyfriend TWO wings. When he went inside to get his order corrected, the employee told him that he could give him two more wings but he's not giving him seven wings for that price that is listed on DoorDash. Which is mind blowing. TWO wings for a grown man. That's offensive and clearly these people are scamming people of money. Either change your description or menu prices! Who gets two wings with Carribean Mac and cheese for $16? So end the end it’s four wings, at best. We paid an extra $4 for the Garlic FRIED tomatoes for me to have two sliced tomatoes with seasoning on it. The rice and peas is just white rice and green peas. The chicken breast are dry and have minimal sauce. This is not authentic Carribean food. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Update: We contacted the owner, who was very understanding and helpful. We have received a partial refund so far. We’re still waiting on the remainder of the refund.

This is not authentic island food. Definitely NOT real Haitian or Jamaican food. The food doesn't taste too bad but they don't know how to make some of the items on their menu. Their rice is more aroz con pollo, not duri kole (Haitian rice and peas). The pikliz is just chopped purple cabbage which is NOTHING like actual pikliz. The macaroni doesn't taste good at all. The wings are good. The presentation of the food is very nice. I just wish I didn't order the food thinking I was getting Haitian food. Had I lowered my expectations, I probably would've had a different outlook.

Being from the Caribbean I can assure you this is not authentic Caribbean dishes. We got the oxtails which was on the salty side and did not taste like authentic oxtails, the rice was a total failure. It was yellow basmati rice with some pigeon peas, the jerk chicken was more like chicken which was boiled, then put in the oven with jerk seasoning thrown over it. The best tasting part was the seasoning. Jerk chicken is done over a grill, not boiled or placed in an oven. The plantains are like fried green plantains, not sweet at all. Worst $45.19 spent, such a shame to spend your hard earned money, in the hopes that you’re buying something delicious but ending up having to throw it in the trash.
Island bowls were pretty good!! Love the Caribbean Mac and the rice, 10/10!

I ordered a couple of items from here back on April 3rd, and not only was my food not delivered after 2.5 hours, I had to go and pick it up. When I got to the facility, the folks there said that they weren’t open for business yet. I had to then show that I placed an order online and that it was to be delivered so long prior to me having to go get it myself. So they promised me that I’d get a percentage off my next meal. Now, today, I go back to get another meal and they’re not open when google says that they’re open? Make it make sense.
