Having previously eaten at this swanky location I felt confident setting a reservation an hour and a half before our show time. We showed up ten minutes early to check in, and once greeted we were told specifically our table would be ready in six minutes and we promptly moved out of the way of the main restaurant thoroughfare. That was a mistake. Despite check ins they started seating based on arrival at the host stand. After two managers passed us and promised to "be back soon", I got to re-live my management days because the lack of communication meant they tried to seat an already sat six top, two times. And somehow it got worse when we finally got to our table. After an hour and fifteen minutes in the building with others receiving the full service of appetizers, dinner, and checks before we ever got a plate of food. Based on the front door experience we ordered our drinks and appetizers, as well as dinner the moment we got the chance, asking our server to please ring in our drinks and fondue appetizer, and then promptly put in our dinner order because one of my guests eats cooked meat instead of the blue steaks I saw served all night. I have never in my life walked out on almost 200 dollars worth of food, but as I never received a plate, I thought it was kind of my mother to pay some money towards the one round of drinks we received.

I got the potato leak which was amazing--very flavorful. My main entree was the pan-fried walleye. The whole dish was very bland; it tasted a little greasy. Even the rice and spinach were bland. It was disappointing. Then we got the flourless chocolate cake--I took one bite as it just tasted like fudge---I would not recommend. They did not have a lot of dessert choices. Our server was amazing, and service was over the top, and we enjoyed our wine.

Great location. Server checked to see if we were attending an event to be sure we were out on time. Food and wine were excellent.

Good food. Nice ambiance and great service. The menu is small but the dishes we tried were really good.

We had a significant problem with service. We were seated and waited over 20 minutes and a server never came to take our drink order. There were not servers observed in the dining area at all during this time. We ended up leaving to celebrate our family member's birthday elsewhere. What a disappointment for a beautiful and historic location.

The food here was amazing, highly recommend the charcuterie board and Brie fondue. The only downside was the service, it was slow and our server seemed a bit confused half the time and one of our appetizers came about 15 minutes after the first we received. It was also quite noisy by the bar area. It's a beautiful bar and the lavender of the hotel is very classy.

We had appetizers and drinks before a show at the Palace Theater next door. The charcuterie plate and Brussel sprouts were excellent. The drinks were very good. Our server Brady did a great job. We will be back.

Eduardo gave the best service. So welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. Everything went smoothly and it honestly made the experience amazing. Best time ever, and definitely coming back again.

Started out nicely, two hungry brothers at a place highly recommended by my daughter, who has dined there multiple times. Took forever to to get a glass of water, another forever to get our correct drinks, and we finally had to flag down someone to find out about my dinner. Yes, it was a Friday night but we had tickets for an 8 :00 show at the Palace and we'd been there since 6:30. Ordered steak frites. Meat and sauce was good and warm, French fries ok, and the shredded cheese on top was cold. Meh.

The food was phenomenal. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the service was off. I hope they figure it out because this is my favorite place to go before events at the Palace.

We had a wonderful dinner at The Keep! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was excellent — everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented.

A special thank-you to Eduardo, who made the evening even better with his outstanding service. He was attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely made us feel welcome.

We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for Eduardo again!

the food and drinks were bad, the service was alright, and the presentation of the food made it inedible. maybe their lunch or dinner is better but literally go anywhere else for brunch

— they ended up trying to make it better and being nice about it but it doesn’t change the fact the food was bad

Stayed at The LeVeque and got the pleasure to receive excellent service at the Keep from Brian and Eduardo. Brian was pleasant and friendly and made one of the best French 75’s I’ve ever had. I even invited some of my friends who stayed at a hotel nearby to come and experience the amazing hospitality. Eduardo was extremely friendly and helpful. He had a fun loving personality and made sure my friends and I enjoyed ourselves every step of the way! Can’t wait to visit again soon!
