The manager Eduardo was incredible, he made our experience beyond what we expected. The food was good, no complaints; cheesecake was amazing, love the cherry topping and chocolate powdered logo.

-Sam was lovely, it was great to visit Columbus for the first time and enjoy such great company at the bar and hotel! Ask for a specialty Nuts N Berries cocktail for a real treat. 🤣😇

Kitchen closes at 9 on a Friday night, although the website doesn’t reflect it.

Jennifer my server was Incredible and her recommendations were spot on! She was so welcoming and personable, the beef Carpaccio was one of the best I have had!

The Keep is a beautiful restaurant located inside the iconic, Hotel Leveque.
Great cocktails and a nice atmosphere at the bar. Sam was our bartender that night and he was very attentive. I also had brunch on a Sunday. Delicious food! And great service by Jen.
Highly recommend restaurant.

Friday 5/23 was our first time visiting and we had high expectations based on hearing such incredible reviews! We were one of like 6 tables in the restaurant for the entire 3 hours we were there. It was very slow!
Based on reviews and the price point , I had expected the atmosphere to be a little “fancier” than it was, with some couples in sweat pants and leggings and the host in jeans. This obviously doesn’t impact my experience but just an observation. I was a little disappointed that it seemed like the chef / bar counter was being used for storage of some sort, or maybe rolling silverware which was giving a really unpolished look.

Eduardo was extremely friendly and had excellent menu recommendations! If we come back, we’ll absolutely be requesting to sit with him.

⭐️Charcuterie board was good but fairly basic.
⭐️Calamari was delish!
⭐️Short ribs were tender and flavorful! I subbed mashed potatoes instead of grits but was brought grits anyway and they were actually SO GOOD!
⭐️ the espresso martini was hands down one of the best I’ve had in Columbus!

Adding in - I called Friday early afternoon and asked if the valet accepts card payments and was told yes. When I arrived, valet said it was cash only ($20) and there was an ATM inside with a $4 fee. We used the ATM and then had to wait for 15 min at the hotel desk for change for the valet tip. They never even moved our car from the front of the restaurant for the three hours.

Stayed at the Hotel LeVeque for Sonic Temple festival and this restaurant/bar was a life saver. Great food and wonderful service. The guys at the bar were as nice as could be. I couldn't ask for better service

The food was mediocre..the risotto was tasteless, the onion soup tasted burnt..they served an uneditable steak with their Steak and Frites to our granddaughter, which they did take off the bill. They did not refill our water or check to see if we needed any other drinks. Our grandson did enjoy the burger. Will not return.

The service was good but the lack of food options offered for the buffet and the fact that we were charged for a side of bacon and coffee makes the brunch not worth the $49 price. We have been to other buffet brunches in town that offer more options and coffee for the same amount. I have been to this restaurant for dinner and had a great experience but this was a disappointment.

The air was out and our server was so sweet, it was way too hot and we just couldn't stay.

This was the second time we've eaten at The Keep before an event at the Palace Theatre next door. The food was pretty good, and the service was very friendly and efficient. It would have been nice if the cost of a glass of wine was listed on their cocktails and other drinks menu. And the floor under our booth was SO sticky that our shoes stuck to the floor. And when we left the restaurant, our shoes made sucking noises the whole way out. Would we eat there again? Yes, if we were going to the Palace Theatre. Otherwise, I'm not sure we would make the trip from the suburbs to downtown. There are many other great restaurants in Central Ohio to choose from.

We enjoy supporting businesses downtown. The photos on their website looked cool and we enjoyed the ambiance. The drinks weee good but the food was disappointing. The Brie fondue was just hollandaise some bread and a few veggies. We both ordered strip steaks and found the cut of meat to be thin and full of gristle. Not what I expected for $49 each. Food was average at best. Had hoped for a better dining experience. I don't mind spending good money for good food but $200 for that food is not a good value.

The staff was friendly, the food was delicious with appetizing portions and our server was very attentive and pleasant. Our total experience was outstanding!

Server was personable and super nice. Ambiance is lovely as usual. Mussels were great, Mac and cheese was dry and French onion soup was bland. Drinks were on point - Apple martini and espresso martini.
