This is a wonderful gem of a spot in the heart of the Short North. Delicious bagels, high quality lox (both hard to find in this town!), and truly wonderful and kind staff who regularly brighten my mornings. The coffee is … serviceable at best if I’m being honest, and it’d be great if they chose to step that up, but good coffee is easy to find in Columbus. No one here can produce a lox bagel like these folks. Great place for a leisurely weekend breakfast, or a weekday morning meeting.

Went in around 10:30 am on a Saturday in August and only waited ~3 minutes to order! What a surprise! We were prepared to wait for a few extra minutes. We ordered the egg and cheese (with sausage) on a salt and herb bagel. The bagel was so delicious. It was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. It had large flakes of salt on it and the herbs were not over powering (love). We also ordered an everything bagel with lox (added egg). Also very delicious. We will be coming back tomorrow! It was about $30 for two bagels adding protein to each bagel.
Cute bagel moment in cbus. They are a bit on the smaller side and prepare for a line. There were plenty of tables open, though! I thought the sea salt and herb bagel was an interesting blend and I’m glad I tried it. Very appreciative of the vegan cashew spread as well!

The freshest best bagels I've had in Columbus, OH. No shame in saying this, but better than the multiple spots i've hit up in NYC. The service is always great, every employee at the Lox is extremely kind and patient, no matter how busy and packed the place gets. And trust me, it gets PACKED during the weekend.

I got the everything bagel toasted with strawberry cream cheese. The bagel was soft and chewy and the spread was delicious. But there is a long line-especially on weekends. You will wait about 20-25 mins for your order so it gets pretty crowded but its good. Would I do the 40 minute walk from German Village to Short North specifically for this. Probably not but it was good if you live close by.
Tried the cuban.....not a traditional Cuban but a very delicious twist on a traditional Cuban. Outstanding! Great place
