This is a wonderful gem of a spot in the heart of the Short North. Delicious bagels, high quality lox (both hard to find in this town!), and truly wonderful and kind staff who regularly brighten my mornings. The coffee is … serviceable at best if I’m being honest, and it’d be great if they chose to step that up, but good coffee is easy to find in Columbus. No one here can produce a lox bagel like these folks. Great place for a leisurely weekend breakfast, or a weekday morning...
Went in around 10:30 am on a Saturday in August and only waited ~3 minutes to order! What a surprise! We were prepared to wait for a few extra minutes. We ordered the egg and cheese (with sausage) on a salt and herb bagel. The bagel was so delicious. It was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. It had large flakes of salt on it and the herbs were not over powering (love). We also ordered an everything bagel with lox (added egg). Also very delicious. We will be coming back...
Cute bagel moment in cbus. They are a bit on the smaller side and prepare for a line. There were plenty of tables open, though! I thought the sea salt and herb bagel was an interesting blend and I’m glad I tried it. Very appreciative of the vegan cashew spread as well!
