I’ve been here multiple times and it is a very nice place to eat. The food is very good, so far I’ve had the bacon cheeseburger and the fish and chips, which are both really excellent choices. The inside is very nice, with cool aesthetics. The service is really good, everyone is really nice and we have chatted with people who work here and they are always really nice. Inside is clean, and comfortable.
Our server. Jocelyn, was OUTSTANDING! She was everything you want in a server - pleasant, attentive, professional, timely!!!The food was delicious, as always. Gotta have the carrot cake and bread pudding when you go!! The onion rings are gigantic and delicious!!
Parking: Ample parking in the rear
Server was enthusiastic and helpful.Food sufficient in taste and amount.Garden salad was enough for two people.French onion soup taste was a little offDined with a friend after a movie.
Food was fine, service significantly was sub par. 1/4 of orders completely forgotten, no apologies. Server ducked us when obviously trying to pay. My family was waiting in the car while I tried to pay, standing outside the booth with a pile of dishes on the edge, credit card in hand. Had to ask for silverware and waters for kids. Not completely awful, definitely not great.
I love their fish and chips but they don’t care about customer service at all. I like to Uber their food and continuously put in the notes I want lemons and malt vinegar added to my order. They never send it. I send it in all caps. Still never send it. Try and call the restaurant to complain and they don’t answer their phone. From now on I’m going to order it from the aa Worthington location.
This was my first time dining at this location on (1/29/23 ) and for the most part everything was great, the food was delicious, atmosphere was good however the gentleman that seated us was not very welcoming as well as the waiter whom never mentioned her name until I personally asked her, and when I asked her " now what did you say your name was " , she replied " I didn't " ( before telling us her name) . I'm stating this because I tip according to the service given/received , usually 20 - 30%. Most waiters are aware that a smile with a name can make a difference , it's called customer service
Our server Ruby was a new waitress but very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back!!
So conveniently located and nice cozy pub atmosphere but something is terribly wrong.Few customers. A really nice new bartender who was very attentive but got our carry out order wrong. Attempted to call but no one answers the phone! When we left there were very few people in the restaurant and multiple staff standing around talking. What was the problem answering the phone? This is not the first time we have have experienced various problems. The kitchen was slow, servers apologizing, orders wrong, rude staff. But, we have attributed it to pandemic problems. This is a Friday night at 7 pm and this place should be bustling with people. The new manager and staff seem nice but the whole experience is a problem.
The place is warm with so many decorations. The fish and chips are not much oiled as others. It is light oil but it tastes sort of plain.
Good food, service was wonderful, not easy to find food not deep fried, but the pickles and mushrooms were good

The fish and shrimp are lightly, crisply breaded, not like the old thick coating of the past - very good. Pleasant atmosphere in the late afternoon
My first time back in over three years was a great time. Had a tiny misunderstanding with a food item, Denise (Manager) took care of it immediately, explained what had occurred and replaced with no worries. Sierra (Server) was pleasant the entire time. Thank you for your efforts, will return.
Love all the Old Bag of Nails locations and this is no exception. Had the mussels and shrimp were very good once extra pepper was added.
..this is a tough one..was ok starting off minus waiting for seating & our food once we got seated for over 20mins. Food was ok..I'll post receipt. The lady DM was kind & our waiter was cool but he kept forgetting us. I still tipped him even though I found out the next day he forgot to give me back my credit card. It really shouldn't surprised me bc he did that throughout the entire time we dined. When I called about it the DM at this location James, didn't even care not one lick! Lol..ughh...must be his best buddies he hired on. And in these times I'm sure they need the help. Anywho..was totally inconvenienced. Hope other customers can say much more than I can. Hope service gets a lot better. ? I will be speaking to corporate abt the lack luster concern from James. He literally didn't say so sorry for your inconvenience or ANYTHING. I was completely shocked.
