The patties here didn’t quite meet my expectations for authentic Jamaican patties. Traditionally, Jamaican patties are known for their flaky, pastry-like crust, golden color and vibrant flavors. Unfortunately, the patties I tried were soft and heavy, with the dough lacking the golden color and crispiness I was hoping for. The beef patty had a taste reminiscent of Chef Boyardee ravioli, and the dough itself lacked the distinct curry flavor. While the curry chicken patty did have some flavor, the dough remained soft.
If you’re looking for a patty, it might just be better to go buy some frozen at the international market.

I placed an order online, mid afternoon. They immediately called to let me know they were out of 2 of the 4 items I ordered, which is odd for 3:30 PM. They didn't want to or couldn't refund so tried to encourage me to swap the unavailable items with what they had. I told him I was uncomfortable doing that because I had never had this place before(he SWORE I would love them)...SO HAPPY in didn't do that. The spinach patty was HORRIBLE and not a lick of cheese in sight. The beef and cheese came with zero cheese. And because they were out of macaroni and cheese, I was left with one semi edible patty despite it not being as advertised. Also, I eat Patty's all the time, the spinach one looked like pie crust, instead of a Jamaican patty. Very disappointed. Won't be back.

Everything was DRY, I had two Patty's Dry. And he served me ice cold Mac n cheese out the box in a cup.....NASTY WORK!!!! Pack it up buddy!!

My coworkers and I heard about this place last week. Today we were so excited to place an order. Unfortunately once we opened our containers all the excitement left!!! We got an amount that was a cup size of rice, literally a teaspoon of cabbage and 2 teaspoons of their version of macncheese. To say I was horribly disappointed is an understatement. I d not recommend. We will stick to the restaurant that we know the food is fresh and delicious.

Had the jerk chicken and 2 beef and cheese. It was melt in your mouth good. So far the best Jamaican food in Columbus. In my opinion.
I ordered 4 Spinach patties and this is what they sent. All beef. You should have cancelled the order if your couldn’t fulfill it. This is just disrespectful.

I spent 4 years of school in Brooklyn, NY. My go to food staple was a beef patty. I was having a nostalgic craving and found The Patty Shack online. It was little adventure in getting there. Off the beaten path. The shop was as pictured. Simple, & welcoming, no frills but friendly. There were many selections and I ordered as many as I could to get a good feel for the food. I ordered the Spicy Beef, Jerk Chicken, curry chicken ,vegetarian, and beef & cheese. The size, hand feel/heft and patty color were spot on. I tried the Spicy Beef first. OMGggg! Heaven. Tasty pastry shell with savory filling that had a little kick to it. I tried the Jerk Chicken second. Delicious filling, just the right amount of scotch bonnet spice to bring a little heat but not overwhelming. I cannot wait to try the rest for lunch tomorrow. If you enjoy Jamaican food, especially beef patties, no need to hunt the freezer section of Saraga. This place is the real deal. Friendly, fast, $4/patty. Delicious. You will not be disappointed. It’ll be put on my net rotation. I’m so glad I trekked over.

I ordered delivery through uber eats. I ordered 9 mins before they stopped doing deliveries for the evening(poor etiquette on my end but i was hungry and was really craving them) I ordered 4 patties. At first I got a message in the app stating one of my Patty's was sold out. Nbd, I picked another one from the menu. Then they called and told me they were sold out of 2 of the ones I picked and offered me 2 jerk chicken ones and I told him that was fine and thanked him. They sent me a free patty, soda, and candy along with the rest of my order! I'm very happy with my experience and I will definitely be ordering again! Also everything was good and fresh, which is really nice since most food has been awful since I started chemo!
