First and foremost, I’d like to thank Simon the bartender for making my first time at The Pearl an experience. Words can’t describe how great of a host he was. Simon recommended nothin but best drinks and food. He didn’t miss. First was N’Awlins Oysters were phenomenal and the Hanger Steak was out of this world! The pearl is a classic vibe with an upbeat aesthetic. If you’re thinking about going here, don’t second-guess it just go!!
Also, I’d like to thank Nick the manger for running such a fine establishment and taking his time out to talk to me about my experience.

The oysters must be pre-shucked - little to no liquor remains and the surface of the meat is dry. This is the result of shucked oysters sitting in refrigeration.
Our table all ordered sparkling wine. Some were served in champagne glasses, others in wine glasses.
The ventilation in the kitchen was not working properly. When we left, we smelled like we'd just left a greasy spoon diner. Just dropped my coat off for dry cleaning.
Service was good.
We were visiting for a couple of days and after doing a little research decided to try this spot. So glad we did! The drinks were excellent and our waiter was very attentive throughout the evening.
It was pretty busy but the decor was very chic and created a great atmosphere. We ordered the oysters, a delicious salad, and fries. Everything was fantastic. We were too full to try dessert, but that just gives us a reason to come back.
Parking was easy in a garage a block away. Definitely recommend!

Love The pearl, they had 4 different oyster options for mix and match and are a great price during happy hr. The bartender was super cool and made me a drink of his choice not on the menus to pair with it because I didn’t see any cocktails that pair with oysters. The atmosphere is a little bit louder than you would expect from a nicer restaurant but overall the vibes were still great!

This is probably one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. We came here for Valentine’s Day brunch, and it was the best decision. TLDR; get the shrimp & grits, and the donkey kick is a good NA morning pick-me-up
The ambiance was nice, it was a tight restaurant with tables seated close to eachother. There is bar seating and oyster bar seating available too. The reataurant is a lot bigger on the inside than one would expect. I would highly recommend making reservations ahead of time, because even with reservations there was at least a 20 minute wait for our table.
Service: Our server was good, he gave good recommendations for our meal and brought food out promptly.
Food: now this is where the money is. We started off with the jalapeno cornbread. It was brought out in a cast iron pan with whipped butter and honey shaped to look like a fried egg. You could really taste the corn and jalapeno peices coming through, and if you’re someone who likes crusty edge peices, theres a good crust on them. The donkey kick - a shaken espresso with earl gray infused cream was delicious. It was like a dirty london fog. The shrimp & grits - this is a MUST HAVE. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the grits were perfectly cheesy, and the sauce was flavored beautifully. I would come back here just for this dish. The tavern benny was tasty, but on the heavier side with a lot of sausage (a patty and in the gravy) served on dry biscuit. The fish & chips were also really good - the fish was so soft and fell apart in your mouth with a very crisp fried batter. The fries are thick cut, which went well with the sauces. This dish is a bit on the oily side.

We were here for a conference and this restaurant was highly recommended. The chic atmosphere but casual attire was definitely a plus. Our server was Marlee and she was fabulous with us as we had a number of question for being newbies. I ordered the scallops and by far the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the strip and it was delicious and seasoned to perfection. Such a laid back experience and we enjoyed every moment. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

We visited on a Friday night, and the atmosphere was energetic and loud, fitting for a pub-style setting. It’s a casual, busy spot, so I’d definitely suggest a reservation. Since we stayed at The Joseph, parking wasn’t an issue, but the surrounding street parking looked tight; you'll likely need to rely on a nearby garage or valet.
The menu leans more toward seafood than your average pub. The redfish was outstanding and easily the highlight of the meal. The burger was also well-portioned and cooked exactly as requested. We started with the fried pickles, which had good flavor and a nice dipping sauce, but the preparation was inconsistent. Several pieces were cut vertically along the skin, resulting in a rubbery texture that was difficult to eat.
Our server, Sean, provided great service and was very friendly. One minor hurdle was that neither he nor the menu could specify the preparation methods for some dishes—whether the fish was grilled, fried, or broiled, for example.
Overall, it's a good choice for a relaxed, lively dinner.

My boyfriend wanted to take me somewhere special for our anniversary, so he booked a table for us ahead of time. However, when we got there, they gave us the smallest table you’ll ever see in the corner, while a few other tables were still open, we asked if we could sit in those seats and the waitress claimed that those spots are booked as well.
We chose to sit at the bar eventually, we ordered some wine and some food. It took them 40 minutes just to pour us the wine (they claimed that they ran out of wine glasses), and we waited another 40 minutes for our food to come out. The other tables that arrived way later than us (1hour after we sat down) got their food before we even did.
I hated the way they treated us at this restaurant, they purposely made us wait for 2 hours in total, maybe it’s because we’re younger and I am Asian so they don’t think they need to treat us seriously. The food was ok but definitely doesn’t worth our time and money. This place was truly a disappointment, especially on our anniversary day. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Great service and environment! The food was not the best and the menu wasn't very big for brunch.
Our meal for 9 was prompt, unique and delicious! Service was on point and made the experience so enjoyable. Perfect for pre-concert dining.
It was mine and my fiancé's first time visiting, celebrating a birthday, and it was outstanding! Our waitress Alex had amazing, quick, and attentive customer service -- she even served us a complimentary plate of the Devil's on Horseback to try (yum). The deviled eggs and cornbread starters were excellent, no critiques needed. The cocktails were perfect. We got the redfish and hanger steak entrees, highly recommend! We will for sure be back to try the other delicious sounding dishes on the menu.
