Went there for brunch and ordered the Tavern Benny (sausage, gravy, biscuit, eggs). Food was kind of lukewarm and for the price was nothing special. The service was top notch though. From start to finish. Great employees and experience from that standpoint. Next time I go I'll order something different.
We had a wonderful experience. Jailo was amazing. My husband ordered oysters and they were so good he ordered more. I had the citrus salad and the blend of citrus, salted pecans and fresh lettuces was unlike other salads you can get anywhere. Shrimp and grits, also unlike other places with added kick of sausage. We left wanting to return the next night. Great food and Jailo's exemplary service with kindness make this a place we will visit each time we are in town.
We arrived in time for Happy Hour. Enjoyed pricing on Starters and Drinks. Starters were delicious - Deviled Eggs & Tater Tots Clam Chowder, Beet Salad, Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Pub Burger were all great. And save room for the Brown Sugar Pie!
