Great atmosphere! Bartenders are friendly, and the owner, Jason, is super cool and down to earth. I like the Starseed Hazy IPA a lot, but also love that they have Frostop Root Beer on tap when I don’t want alcohol. Overall, very impressed with this place.

Love this brewery! I enjoyed my time even with my 4 year old and 1 year old in tow! They have lots of games for kids and there is plenty of room for kids (and dogs) to explore. There’s snacks at the bar and frequently food trucks offering a variety of dishes. Check their website or social media for their food truck and events schedule. Highly recommend!

Kid FriendlyDog FriendlyFood Trucks on the weekendI visited this brewery on a saturday afternoon in November and the place was cozy and very family friendly. The beer selection was extensive, 12 drinks on tap. I was not expecting so many options for such a small craft brew operation. I had to start with a flight, my favorite was the midnight ride (American Stout) and my wife enjoyed the blackberry wheat. Like I said, it's family friendly so my kids could run around, pet other people's dogs, play with the board games, and try their luck at the vintage pinball machines. There's a TV lounge in the back so naturally the OSU game was on. I'll definitely be back.

Visited with a group of people for an event. The brewery is located in an industrial park. Parking is limited in the area though I was able to find a spot after driving around. The brewery has seating inside and outside. There are a few board games for patrons. They also had a food truck, which is a regular occurrence. I ordered the Blackbird as my initial beer. This is a blackberry wheat ale. It was a bit sour, but it tasted pretty good. After finishing my beer I ordered a flight of 5 different beers. This allowed me to sample most of their beers. Bolt was my favorite in the flight. This is an American Golden Ale. I wasn't a big fan of Lifesight (Pale Ale) and Arise (IPA). Both were very hoppy, which is typical for these types of beers. Service at the brewery was good. The bartender provided fast and friendly service.

You know when a brewery first opens up and they are still working out some of the recipes so the beer is just meh? Well, that’s not the case at Thunderwing! I tried all 10 of their opening weekend drafts (tasters, of course), and every one is solid. And so much variety!! There’s something for every taste and no one will be disappointed. And the space is lovely too. The mural is gorgeous and make sure you take a picture with the wings (you’ll see when you get there!). Looking forward to going back - there’s a hazy IPA in a cans that I’m dying to try. Columbus is a beer town and Thunderwing is a fantastic addition! Go check it out!!
