This dining hall is relatively accessible because of the height of seats, availability of food and the height of the entrance desk where you swipe in at. I appreciate how the food is served at a lower height which is greatly accommodating to wheelchair users, but the seating options in the largest dining place are difficult to maneuver around because of how closer together the tables and seats are, which allows for maximum seating options but does not really account for individuals in wheelchairs. On a positive note, I feel that the sensory environment is not too overwhelming at certain hours because the music is kept low and the area is kept clean but the large amount of people present at peak hours can be very overstimulating. Menus are up high above the food stations and can be difficult to read for people with visual impairments so I feel that they could do better at providing braille labels closer to the food rather than one larger menu off to the side. However, the staff is greatly accommodating and I appreciate their efforts in making this dining hall as accessible and comfortable as possible.

The people who actually put your food on the plate are nice, really amazing people. My one problem is this dude that walks around like he's the boss or something and just yells at everyone. Maybe I'm overreacting, but he hasn't put a smile on my face like the rest of the workers have.Food is pretty pathetic, but It's a college dining hall so I'll take it.

The employees are pretty nice, but the university policy on getting a clean plate each time you go back to get more food, along with the slightly subpar quality and variety of food makes it a quite average dining experience. It is a college dining hall, so maybe don’t have your first date here.

The food is great most of the time, especially on campus! However, the workers are slow at their jobs and very rude. I overheard them talking about someone and glaring at them just because they didn't like that he used the elevator to get to their loft. They complained something along the lines of "how hard is it to read two pieces of paper that say do not use?" with a lot of attitude. I looked at the elevator multiple times after hearing this as well as before he used it and there wasn't a single piece of paper saying to not use it. They also constantly gossip behind the counter and play on their phones instead of make food, and a 2 minute sandwich with no othet orders easily can turn into 10-20 minutes. Most of the time the food is good, but sometimes it is pathetic at best. Would recommend if you're willing to take the risk, wait the time, and can put up with workers that just want to socialize.

Traditions at Kennedy, of the food halls, has the best food but not much of it. While traditions at Scott has way more options, they're not always that good. Kennedy has way better food, but there aren't many options. I recommend Kennedy as somewhere to go not every day, but every so often. To best show the difference, traditions at Scott has pre-made pancakes from some factory somewhere. Traditions at Kennedy has pancakes that are made by a chef in front of your eyes, and are still warm when you get them.Vegetarian options: For vegetarians, traditions at Kennedy has significant options. There are a plethora of vegetarian dishes, including non-meat alternatives to traditionally meat dishes.Dietary restrictions: Traditions at Kennedy provides large amounts of accessible information regarding what every dish contains. If you have a dietary restriction, Kennedy can likely accommodate it.

Tragically, 12th Avenue changed their whole menu. Making their food less accessible to those who can't eat meat, dairy or gluten. This was one of the biggest attracting features of 12th Avenue in the past, additionally their wide plethora of delicious and inclusive food. Now that they have removed these menu items, the menu is a lot less appealing and excludes a lot of the people with food restrictions who used to eat here. It's upsetting and disappointing that they took off these delicious menu items! Do better.

Good sturdy selection, highest quality traditions.

It has a wholesome atmosphere, and while the selection is limited compared to Traditions at Scott, its available meals are still adequate. Overall not bad, but not terribly impressive either.
