I had to find a place to eat that had things my family would like for Easter AND also allowed 2 small dogs. With about ten choices for the dogs, I really liked the menu options here. And it worked out great. Outside seating on a beautiful day. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection and the glaze was delicious. The carbonara was great. Someone had the vegetarian pasta and loved it. My husband had a sandwich of some kind and it disappeared fast (so fast that I didn't notice what it was). The wedge salad was simple but fresh and tasty. The kids also ordered cinnamon rolls - and they disappeared in seconds. (The rolls. Not the kids). I don't know that I would take a big dog there. The outside is pet friendly but the tables are pretty close together. Our dogs are not well behaved so I was relieved no one sat at the table beside ours. Our waitress was sweet and chatted us up appropriately. Her outfit was fabulous for Easter. The other people who came to the table were personable and quick with deliveries and refills The pineapple mimosa I had - I only had one but wanted ten because it was good! (Everyone else had pop so I couldn't justify more than one!) We will undoubtedly visit again in my kid's OSU years!! (Her favorite food anywhere is a good carbonara - so this place was a huge home-run for her)
We enjoyed the salmon ravioli special and the stuffed chicken special. Both were delicious. We also always like their caesar salad and beet salad along with the best rolls in town. Sean keeps this restaurant moving forward but retains the Italian home-cooking vibe.
Great food had the homemade Ravioli. The deserts were exceptional especially Limoncello Tiramisi
The only minus I could add was the restaurant was a little chilly when we arrived. I asked our server, Viola to see if she could raise the thermostat a little and she happily did so. When we left, our dinning area was very comfortable. Food was wonderful and portions were large. Great leftovers!
We had a great time with good food and terrific service. Great place for a family get together!
Very small outdoor area and tables were so close together that it was difficult to have a conversation without hearing everyone around us. Also, when food was delivered to table beside us, could smell their fish which was not appetizing, Pasta wasn't good and very disappointed in quality of food.
Best place EVER!!! Food is so so good and servers were super knowledgeable in answering all questions :)

Slow service, waitress never smiled or apologized for the slow service. Food was barely edible. Never going here again.

This place rocks. I'd lived here 6 years and walked by a hundred times but never tried it. Small and personal inside with a great little patio. Walked out with plenty of leftovers for 2 and all for less than $50. Food was good, too. Will definitely be coming back

Shelby was a great server and answered all my gluten free questions! We went for our 10 year anniversary dinner and the food was delicious all around and thoughtfully portioned! My partner isn't gluten free and his food was delicious as well. I loved having the option of gluten free bread at the beginning. Cocktails and wine and desserts were also all wonderful! Thank you chef Matt and staff for a lovely evening!
Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options!

We visited with our daughter who is a student at OSU after an OSU football game. The manager nicely accommodated our table request. It had been many hours since we had eaten so we were ravenous. The food did not disappoint and the service was great. This was our first time to Grandview. It won’t be our last.

I reserved online and left special requests for my first anniversary. Had never been to this restaurant or spoken with anyone here. Suggested they'd do flowers, specially folded napkins, wine glasses out, or whatever they do for special occasions. To my surprise not only did they do all of these things, instead of fake flowers, they purchased a small bouquet of roses and sunflowers and added it to my bill, so we could take them home. The waitress greeted us with “happy anniversary” and gave us a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. These exceptionally thoughtful gestures are what can make going out to dinner truly a special occasion. The food itself was tasty. Very nice Caesar salad with the option for anchovies like it should have. My chicken and shrimp dish in a lemon caper sauce was light and fresh. My wife's ravioli was good, it was their special that night. It was described as having a “balsamic cream sauce”, but the sauce was tomato based and a bit heavy on the acidity, given how much of it there was. Also, their red blend was exceptional and affordable ! Overall, service and the romantic/beautiful ambiance is what made this a 5-star experience.
