The salmon was cooked to perfection. The risotto was sweet savory and creamy. The broccoli cheese soup with thick and flavorful. The chocolate cake was excellent. Semi-sweet with a little crunchy layer adding to the textural experience.
First, food was excellent. We ate in the bar area and it sorta felt like we were intruders eating in someone else's house. Servers/barfiolks were friendly with the regulars but we felt like we were treated a bit like second-class citizens. Not awful service - though not great - but felt like we were not-really-wanted outsiders. Doubt we'll go back even though the food - pricey - was good.
Disappointing dinner. The food was bland, red sauce tasted like it came straight from a tomato sauce can...no spice. The chicken saltombocca had no spice or flavor. We have been to many high end Italian restaurants in central Ohio, out first and last visit here.
Overall a decent experience. My wife loved her meal while I found my lasagna quite dry. The waitress was amazing, one of the best we've had in awhile.
We have done at this restaurant several times and brought friends who had not been there. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. We consider this one of our favorite restaurants in Columbus. We have tried many items on the menu and they were all outstanding.
As usual, the food was delicious. Our server, Christy, paid attention to us and was very friendly and helpful.
The food was deliciously seasoned so it had a lively but not spicy flavor. We appreciate their attention to detail and consideration for those with food allergies. They have a varied gluten free menu that is quite tasty. Our server was very attentive but not the least disruptive. It's one of our favorite spots.
What a lovely experience! Our server, Isaac, was wonderful with awesome suggestions - all of which we tried and loved! The food - wow! I can't believe they have been in business for 35 years and this is our first time there! We all decided it was a favorite of all time!
The hostess was very nice when we walked in and we were seated promptly at a good table. I say this because there was just the two of us and the restaurant has those tables for 2 that run down the center of the room. I don't care to be seated at those. They are small and in the middle of everything. The drinks were good, the wine was good, and the prices were good. The calamari was chewy but the marinara served with it was delicious! The salad was overdressed but good. The entrees were reasonably priced but I think the thing to order would have been the way to go. My husband's dish had sriracha in the the sauce and he asked for it to be very mild. Unfortunately it was quite hot so he asked if that could be remedied. They took it back and it returned to him with a few new clams and a very watery sauce...that was still too hot. I had the Burrata pasta and it was okay. We will try it again sometime because the potential is there and the marinara might be worth the second visit.
Taylor was the absolute greatest server. Come to this place for her alone and you won’t be disappointed. The food was immaculate and we ordered from the Restaurant Week menu (lucky us! Because we had.no idea it was going on) which included a 3-course meal for $35 and the cocktail/wine selection was elite. I should have taken pictures of the food, but didn’t intend to write a review going into the meal, so it wasn’t top of mind. If you’re in Columbus or visiting like we are (from Chicago — we are SPOILED with great food)… this place is a MUST! Enjoy!!

We eat here often, one of our favorites, although lately the service has been a little slow. The salads are always fresh, the appetizers hearty, the pasta dishes filling and well made, and the specials are, well, special. Desserts are fine, but with food like this, who needs dessert.
So delicious and the best happy hour in Grandview!!!!!

Perfect quaint Italian restaurant. Great small bar. Sinatra decor. Frequented here. Haven't been back in 4 years. The moment I walked in the owner came over and still remembered my favorite meal, which isn't on the menu, and offered to make it. If you're thinking of Italian food in Columbus, there's no better option.

This is a lovely Italian restaurant. The dining room was decent with a great bar. Their entrees looked pretty. I ordered the taste of Italy serving with lasagna, eggplant Parmesan, and Alfredo angle hair. The food came out a little slowly but free rolls were served. Their soft rolls were wonderful with decent cream. The white sauce pasta was authentic and the red sauce was a little sour, but I could feel the abundant flavor of tomatoes. However, the eggplant was too raw and hard. I hope they would make it better. WiFi and Apple Pay were not available.
