Trattoria Roma is a wonderful restaurant. The food is fabulous and the service is very attentive and accommodating. We love to support local spots and this one is on the top of our list.

We were seated as we arrived, even though we were 10 minutes early. Our server, Cathlene, was extremely attentive. The food came out as ordered and was nice and hot. The bread service was outstanding. The noise level was low - great for some older folks who don't hear quite as well as we once did. Highly recommend this fine establishment.

My wife started with a Caesar salad including white anchovies, which you don't often find and is a good example of the unexpected delights you get at Trattoria Roma. She followed that with the evening's special beef tenderloin ravioli. I started with a delightful Beet Carpaccio salad that included red and golden beets with greens dressed in a perfect vinaigrette and a drizzle of peanut sauce (!) on the bottom. I chose the scallops as my entree, and they were perfectly cooked with an unexpected crust seared on the top. Portion sizes were perfect. Prices were less than we would expect. The ambiance was comfortable and conducive to conversation. Our server, Nick, and the other staff offered a level of service you seldom find post-COVID. Visit Trattoria Roma for excellent food, drink and service. We will return often.

I've been traveling a lot this year — Detroit, Atlanta, Chicago, Aruba, New York, Clearwater, and back to Columbus — and I can honestly say Trattoria ranks easily in my top three dining experiences of the year. The atmosphere was just right: low lighting, a comfortable noise level (which I really appreciate), and a warm host who set the tone immediately. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. We started with the Arancini, which were perfectly crisp and flavorful. For mains, I had the Chicken Parm and my date ordered the Rotolo di Pasta — both excellent choices. The Chicken Parm was hearty, fresh, and full of flavor, while the Rotolo di Pasta was unlike anything I've had before: unique, rich, and absolutely worth coming back for. Portions were generous, ingredients tasted fresh, and the overall value was outstanding. To top it off, we were treated to a complimentary tiramisu for my date's birthday. Normally, I'm not a fan of tiramisu, but I had to at least try it — and I was glad I did. It was light, balanced, and one of the best I've tasted, a perfect finish to an already excellent meal. With two entrees, an appetizer, sodas (no alcohol), and dessert, the total was about $54 — incredibly fair for the quality and experience. This place moved way up my “must-recommend” list in Columbus. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, but next time, the Rotolo di Pasta and Crem brulee will be mine.

Food was very good & so was the service. It was an incredibly enjoyable meal until the check came stating “A 20% gratuity will be added if not left”. Shocking that diners do not have a choice in how to tip their service. Our server was awesome & perhaps we would've tipped greater than 20% but the demand was very off-putting. Sadly, we won't be visiting Trattoria Roma again! Seems like our freedom of choice in this country continues to diminish even down to dining out!

We waited one hour just for salad. They apparently ran out of peaches ?? Then another 45 minutes for our dinner. Awful food. We will never go back
We had a great family dinner with great food and service! Parking is rough if you go on the same night as the Grandview Hop, but it also makes for a nice outing that way.

This a hidden gem and is definitely worth a visit. Great prices on drinks, food was outstanding and the staff provided such a welcoming atmosphere that makes for an incredible experience. We will be back very soon and it is highly recommended! Try the Pistachio Cheesecake, simply amazing!!

My family and I enjoyed our time at Trattoria Roma very much. The manager kindly allowed us to be seated at the end of the evening, and even though we were the last table, we received the royal treatment from the server and the staff. The food was delectable, and the service was excellent. We will definitely return the next time we're in Columbus, Ohio.
