Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Today They forgot the egg on my breakfast wrap which wasn’t a big deal I figured it would be an easy fix so I walk back in and tell the employee in the pigtails that my order was missing the eggs. She demands that I go outside and get the receipt that was on the bag. I get a tad annoyed because I was literally in here just a minute before to pick up my order and I have the wrap and the tropical smoothie wrapping paper in my hand so I CLEARLY got it from here! The manager walks over quickly intervened and was happy to get me a new wrap. But it didn’t end there as soon as the manager walked away to go remake my food, Miss Pigtails starts running her mouth and says “I wasn’t trying to be difficult!!” But she said it in a hostile tone so I ignored her but she kept on with making faces at me, bobbing her head around cussing under her breath, I even turned my back to her but she kept up with the attitude until I got my new wrap and I promptly left. I live across the street Ive been coming here since this place opened but I won’t be back again. Again I’m not upset about the mistake with my food I’m upset that I was bullied over it.

Never got something here I didn’t like! We have done the order ahead and pick up in store option and have had good experiences with that. I like that you have the option to customize a smoothie to “no sugar” or “half sugar” option. The seasonal dragon fruit/passion fruit smoothie they have right now is really good. I will probably have to get
at least one more before the season changes. 10/10 super tasty

The food was fine but I noticed that they kept making the beautiful girl with the twists clean all of the blenders while others either did a different, less messy job, or ignored the blenders all together. I think the poor girl’s name was Mia but it was just horrible to watch. It was clear others were supposed to be helping, but no manager was interfering. Disappointing to see a black girl treated like that.

The WORST customer service. Absolutely insane how they are still in business. Shame on me for giving them multiple chances - New Albany location.

Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. They were a little slow to give us our orders, but they were busy. We ordered through the app and then drove down there. We sat down and waited patiently. After about minutes I saw them bagging up what looked our orders. They bagged them and just set them on the counter by the drive through. We had to go and wait in line to ask if it was our order. After about 5 more minutes of standing in line the person at the register asked us what we wanted, I told them that we had two mobile orders and they said they would put them on the rack when they were ready. I pointed out what I thought was ours, they checked and those were our orders. They gave them to us, and we enjoyed our Quesadillas and smoothies as we always do here. Just know that patients is not rewarded here. You will have to speak up or you will never get your order. Still, I will be back no one was rude to me and there were no other problems.

They always close 10 to 15 mins early. Do not post your hours and not abide by them. This has happend on many occasions.

Arrived at 8:56 pm, door locked. They were all in there cleaning up the lady see me at the window. I asked if they were closed she said yes sorry. After driving all the way over here and the app and the door so they close at 9 PM. They could’ve whipped me up a smoothie but instead I’m leaving and won’t ever be back.

Have visited the drive thru several times in the past month. Service is always fast and accurate! And smoothie/food has been great! Really enjoy the Island Impact.
