This my first time in this local coffee shop. I was excited to support local business. The staff surprisedly was rude and the service wasn't what I expected from Is local community coffee shop. The server talk mess about my chose of item that I paid for like my choice didnt fit his standard, this was dishearting because i supprt this community and all the amazing places in the community. I read all the other comments and it may have been a off day. Just saying do better.

Dirt cheap coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Try the Upper Egg, very good. Baristas were very friendly

Great coffee & tea and amazing employees! I love all the plants and how they display various local artists. Upper Cup is an OTE staple. Go see for yourself ?

The coffee is nothing short of amazing, and the food is pretty good for a limited menu in a space that has a smaller kitchen. The service was interesting, and the employees tend to cater to their regulars like a dive bar. I'd give them another try the next time I'm in town.

I received a pound of Costa Rica dark beans as a gift. Upon opening the bag there was no aroma and the beans were medium brown. I've had coffee in Costa Rica and drink only dark roast. I brewed one batch and it was awful and undrinkable. These were not dark roast beans! I don't know what's going on at this place but if I could I wouldn't rate the coffee even one star.

It's definitely a personal and crowd favorite. From coffee (obviously) to tea, specialty drinks, snacks, atmosphere, location, service... you can't go wrong. More parking has been added over the years, making the morning stop or afternoon pop in a cinch.

The coffee is so good. Spectacular. Delicious. So good that I went back multiple times. If you’ve gotten this far in my review, you should’ve already put the address into your GPS & should be on the way there. By far the best latte I have ever had.It is a coffee shop so there is ample seating, lots of planets, and it is decorated nicely.

I had an iced caramel latte and it was absolutely delicious. I also bought a bag of whole beans from El Salvador and made coffee at home and it was a delight. The two staff members I spoke two were knowledgeable and friendly, but I didn't get their names.I wouldn't recommend it as a quiet study space because it was rather noisy. But it would be great for hanging out and chatting over coffee. I will definitely be back, especially to try the other beans they have available.Parking: There appears to be a very limited number of parking spots. At the very least, I struggled to find one. But there is free street parking nearby.

Great local and black-owned coffee roaster. Probably the best coffee in town. We always get our beans for home here. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Not open late.Vegetarian options: They have vegan milks available for coffee such as almond and coconut milk.

This place has a good vibe, good tunes playing (but not too loud to work), a decent amount of cozy seating, and outlets. The drink menu has all the essentials, and they serve breakfast/lunch sandwiches all day. My basic oat milk latte was very solid and had good quality espresso. The egg and turkey sandwich was decent, less expensive than your average shop, and I'd eat it again. The shop is black-owned, and all the servers/baristas seem to be really cool people. I'm glad to come back any time.

Best coffee in Columbus, hands down. They roast their own beans which we take home! My spouse is very into making great quality pour over coffee and he says nothing compares to Upper Cup ( stauf’s is overrated bc it’s more widely known). I love their iced mochas! We would love if they added a grandview / upper Arlington location!Dietary restrictions: Oat milk available!
