Had a wonderful brunch at Valters at the Maennerchor! The French toast was absolutely delicious—perfectly prepared and flavorful. The service was just as good; the staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. It’s a great spot for a relaxed, tasty meal. Highly recommend!
Valters was a hidden gem. MUCH better than another famous German restaurant in the area.

I intentionally pick this restaurant this week to check out their Reuben sandwich. I have had Ruben sandwiches from three different places that I'll not name. The sandwich here is piled high with lumps of meat. I prefer my Reuben sandwiches a little more neater and with more flavor. I am guessing they boil their corned beef and not slow cook it without seasonings. The meat overkilled the sauerkraut and other ingredients to where you could barely taste them. Atmosphere was...
