Love W.G. Grinders!!! So glad they are still around even though so many other locations closed. This is hands down my favorite sub place by far. Also their dessert are amazing.

I haven't visited in over a year, so I was looking forward to having a delicious chicken parmesan grinder once again. I was completely dissatisfied with what I received, instead of a chicken fillet topped with sauce and cheese, I got a load of sauce and cheese with little cubes of chicken mixed in! What is this? Couldn't even get a good bite of chicken! I wasn't paying nor did I want a sauce and cheese sandwich. On a second note, I told the cashier three times my name is Ken, and referred to Ken and Barbie, but what do I hear being called, Ten, which what was written! It's gone down so badly (in my view) that I don't see myself going back any time soon, if ever.

My husband suggested W. G. Grinders for dinner and it did not disappoint. We ordered an Italian grinder, a Reuben grinder, and a pepperoni Stromboli. It was plenty of food, reasonable prices, and great taste. They asked if we wanted the banana peppers on the Italian grinder, it’s good they ask because some may not like them. I always get banana peppers though ?️ yummy!!They should add dessert to the online menu, we would have ordered some.

I love waiting a half hour only to be told "the POS didn't send your ticket to the kitchen, this happens all the time, we don't know why"If it happens all the time then you need to check your POS and kitchen tickets "all the time" so you aren't inconveniencing your customers. I love Grinders but I've lived on the west side for 2 years now and I've been there 6 times. 4 out of the 6 times has been a very disappointing experience. This happened on a pick up order last summer where I had my pick up schedules for 1:30, ordered at noon, hadn't even made it when I got there at 1:30.Then there was another experience last year where they gave me someone else's order on a pick up and someone else my food. I never got my refund for that order. I probably shouldn't have went last night knowing that my experiences have been bad.My girlfriend was in from out of town though and I wanted her to try it. Thought maybe I'd get lucky. Nah. Never going back officially after this.

I haven’t been to a WG Grinder in well over 25 years. Went to today on a whim and it did not disappoint! Salad was amazing and so was my tuna sandwich. Service was excellent! Love the vibe of the restaurant. Workers were very nice and brought the food to our table. Just really enjoyed my lunch and will be

Always loved grinders but I decided to get the Stromboli. Its was all uncooked dough with a hard almost burnt bottom.I tried to tell the girl and she just said sorry. No offer to remake, refund or anything n walked away. I was so hungry and had to watch my husband eat :( but I told him to and ill eat at home. Very disappointed. I'm not real picky either, just didn't want to be sick eating uncooked dough

I haven’t been able to enjoy a W.g. Grinders sandwich is a VERY long time. The locations nearest me had closed when I lived in Findlay and then again at the Polaris location. I told a friend we could meet for lunch as long as it was quick - just a sandwich. As we were pulling into the parking lot - I assumed we were going to Canes. And then was thinking - Roosters might be quick enough…. WgW- your signage sucks. I didn’t even see you as an option, and wondered why we were parking so far away from either of the restaurants I could see.I was quite happy to have your establishment pointed out to me. I didn’t know to ask to eat here as I didn’t know any were still around! I got my go-to order: classic Italian. And wished I was hungrier so that I could have ordered the cheddar macaroni salad. But it was more than enough! So glad I was reintroduced.

This deli shop is the last bastion of a great product. And it's run by owners who care, Nick and Shelly are fantastic. I stop in about once a month to get a 20-in original Italian grinder, sometimes a club, but they are always fantastic sandwiches. The excellent, Italian baguette is cooked in a conveyor oven with tarragon dressing (depending on the grinder) with the sandwich ingredients on top. Delicious, always.
