New Waffle House Polaris & Sunbury near Columbus, Ohio manager Anthony Dumont unjustly fired everyone's favorite waitress of the last 20 years. This man burns waffles, throws tantrums on the grill "I can do it better all by myself" but he won't last 5 more years with waffle house. I've seen 3 just like him there over time. Good managers are hard to find. I know, because I've been going to see Jan for the last 20 years and so did my father before me. You want to have a favorite waitress, and a place to go where "everyone knows your name!" I literally go there to see her, listen to the juke box, and give her a big tip because thats what my dad would have done. But this guy just alienated all of their regulars. If ppl just wanted burned waffles, you would have a much better rating. I won't go back unless waffle house makes this right.

We left without ordering after we witnessed the cook scratching his head and then preparing food with no gloves on and then when he put on gloves he pulled out raw bacon and went down and was buttering somebody's toast without changing his gloves. This place needs better supervision as there's no doubt people get sick here left and right.

Quite a few staff members working but takes forever for them to clean tables. I saw a great number of people leave before ordering because of the slow service. Went especially for the grits.....thick and lumpy. Ugh

Joseph and Laurie are attentive and cheerful. My food is hot, and my coffee cup stays full. My husband can DJ on the touch tunes. Waffle House is always a top pick for breakfast.

This is the best Waffle House I have ever been to. The team seemed genuinely happy to be there (multiple regulars carrying conversation with the staff, even the maintenance man that was there was nice) and the entire restaurant including restrooms was spotless. 10/10

Ordered 2 meals online & my husband picked it up before work. Opened the food & it was visible strands of hair in the food. No way to contact anyone in the store by phone. I had to leave a complaint on the site & my husband had to work so he returned all the food as was since we couldn’t eat it due to strands of hair being in it after work. When He took the food in it was second shift & was told that they couldn’t authorize a refund at the moment due to a manager not being available. They took the food & told him to come back in the morning to get a refund. This was a huge unsanitary inconvenience. I don’t get why phones weren’t being answered only a recording being played without any options to choose from. Also why a refund couldn’t be made same day. Will follow through with going back tomorrow for full refund & see what happens..
