I didn't stop for the coffee, but I did stop for the chocolate. And the chocolate was delicious. I got their peanut butter smidgens and the chocolate was divine and the filler was creamy and delicious. Kept coming back for more and more and before I knew it they were all gone. Perfect little stop to satiate your sweet tooth.

This lovely coffee and chocolate shop in Short North opened early and provided great coffee for me in the morning of game day. Free caramel apple samples were available, but it tasted too sweet. The almond chocolate was decent without too much sugar. The room was comfy and warm. WiFi was fast. Service was excellent. Definitely a great place to hang out or study.

For the love of chocolate…and coffee!
This was our first time in this Winans location. We visited while on a road trip to Columbus. Lots going on downtown and while walking down the street we spotted this coffee shop. My daughters are huge coffee fans, and on top of that…chocolate!!!!
While only one person working, the place was extremely clean and she was very friendly. We had a little bit larger of an order and she took it completely in stride. We were able to rest our legs while waiting on the couch that was filled with plump, cushy pillows or the tables and chairs.
I did enjoy a sample while waiting and got to look around at different things they offered within the store.
The drinks were very good and we were very pleased with the service and the taste.
Even the restrooms had coffee themed wallpaper and were kept up nicely.
Will definitely return!

The coffee line inside the convention center was too long, so I took a short stroll past the chain places, and right into Winans. The menu board was nicely laid out, my simple coffee order was delivered quickly, and priced fairly (delicious too BTW). My visit was right before Easter so the shop was stocked with a nice selection of chocolate treats for the holiday. Definitely will be back next time I'm in the Short North.
