I was hoping for a great meal here but we didn't make it past a seating issue. First off do not go here with more than 8 people and ask to sit together they will not accommodate, told us it was a health code violation, I don't think so. The waitress of 14 years was extremely rude about it, she should consider another line of work. The manager did apologize but it was clearly not genuine. This place has been around for a long time and has mostly an older regular customer base. The restaurant is small, crowded, and very loud. I've heard mixed reviews on service and food quality and unfortunately agree that at least the customer service is terrible. On a positive note we did have a wonderful dinner at Nicola across the street. I would not recommend Windward Passage.

Been coming here since I was a toddler..... this place has not changed a bit and that is what I love about it. Old school dinner club.

Food and service was horrible. Spilled drinks waitress came out to the parking lot after we were done because of the tip. Rude people. Don’t go there if you have more than eight people they don’t

Seafood, Halibut was very good, but accompanying green beans were not, soggy. Salad was very good. Rolls could have been betterKid-friendliness: More of an atmosphere for older adults, so nice and quiet so we were able to converse.

Have not been there for two years but always was a great seafood place for the price. Not so anymore!!! Prices have increased on most items by at least 25 to 30% plus portions are down at least 20%.That’s more than a 50 %!!!! Totally now just average if below! Really depressing! Will not return ever!

Had the most horrible experience. The salad was disgusting and brown wilted lettuce! The server was loud and rude. The clam chowder was potato soup no clams. They have definitely gone downhill!

It was an expensive, bland meal.My date got the prime rib with a double side of the veg and a salad, I got the filet mignon with veg and fries and we had the scallops for an appetizerStarting, my date got her salad and it came out and was a small handful of mixed lettuce on a plate with a wedge of suuuuper under ripe tomato. The tomato had no juice, just solid all the way through. We were told that green beans were the veg, we were served broccoli (which was a step away from raw), and as it was served we were apologized to for it not being asparagus(?) To their credit they did ask if we wanted to sub something out for the veg since it wasn't what was stated. My date said that the prime rib was ok but was more expensive than a steakhouse and not as good. My filet($29) was cooked to temp but the outside was oddly dry??? It was also without seasoning l. The only thing that saved it was asking for a second side of au jus. Overall it was a very bland meal. The scallops($18) however, came out in a shell full of a delicious cheese sauce and were cooked perfectly. I really liked them, but for $6 per scallop, I don't think I could ever justify buying them again. The environment made it so that sound doesn't echo and because there weren't a lot of people there on a Monday night, it made the place feel very liminal space-y. The staff experience was a little off for us as well but I won't go into it because it seems like the waitress was newer and still getting used to it.It was a very awkward experience. The atmosphere was cool, but the prices said "we take ourselves seriously." The folded napkins and silverware placement gave a high brow affectation, but the paper place mats, the mountain of butter packets for two rolls, and the modern music said "Were not sure what we're doing."

Food was very bland, no flavor, no spices. No garlic on the shrimp scampi....... Very unhappy for $75. Not sure if we'll go back.

The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The food? Stellar! We started with oysters on the half shell. Hubby had the King Crab with all the sides, Mama had prime rib and King Crab. Meat was cooked to order-rare! Crab, sweet, juicy. Hungry yet? Small, cozy venue. We had a very short wait at 6:00 pm. Highly recommend this long standing Columbus business.Parking: Located in a strip mall so plenty of free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair parking spots and we used one.
