Winston's Coffee & Waffles

The food here was a little different than what I expected. I had the baron style with sausage and my wife had the duchess. The waffles tasted more like donuts to me. A little too expensive for my taste as well.

Finally stopped in for breakfast, and ordered a Queen with strawberries and Nutella. Unfortunately, whatever savory waffle was made before mine left a lingering flavor and gave some bites an onion-y taste that didn’t pair well with my sweet vision! The maple brown sugar latte was spot on, though. If I order again, I would go with something savory to avoid another mishap.

Shown in the photo is Baron Style Waffle with Veggies and Egg. The proportion of the egg/veggies filling to the thick waffle is spot on. I loved the flavor except that I did not know that this Baron Style waffle has sugar chunks in it. I did not really expect it to have some sweetness in it. It still tastes pretty good overall but it just really caught me off guard. Maybe update the description in the Online Ordering menu? We had the Common Style items before and that did not have sugar chunks in it.

They also messed up one of the items in our order. They just remade it and gave us a $5 gift card for future use. That is pretty decent! We appreciated the gesture.

My mother has been wanting to take me to this place for a while now so today we went. We showed up about 5 minutes till closing and my mother placed the order and also apologized for showing up so close to closing time.
The lady working the register didn't respond whatsoever and to my mother's apology or order. She acted like a robot and just told my mom to put her card In the card reader then continued to ignore my mother trying to make polite conversation. We made our order then they called us up and I went to grab it. Then my mom realized they gave us the wrong order then the same lady who took our order told my mom that it was what she ordered and would not change her order. Then my mom asked for a refund and she expressed how disappointed she was in the service. The really disrespectful employee now walked away and another women walked up to the register and then said they do not know how to refund so they called their manager from there other location to explain how to do a refund which they were still not able to do 10min + into this very stressful situation. Finally they said they would send the bill to their manger who they said at some point would refund us...then we just left. Very rude service and I've heard they have good food but to me doesn't mean anything at all with service like this. Very disappointed and will definitely never go back.

This little gem is amazing! Every time we are in Columbus Ohio, we stop here at least once! The bacon Winston is my favorite. My partner prefers the regular Winston. The coffee is fantastic too!!!

Where is the MENU? Never eaten there, YET! But drive past it all the time. 3 stars, not knowing anything, is better than 1 star, I can't do a 1 or a 5 star if I haven't gotten food from there yet.

I ordered just a classic waffle. The lady who took my order was very friendly, welcoming, professional, and informative. Food was streaming hot. Delicious!!!
I'm glad I saw it as I was headed to a gas station.
