Delicious and a lovely variety of tea! All the food was fresh and made with care and had a beautiful presentation. If you like tea and a calm environment I highly recommend!Vegetarian options: There aren't a ton of meat substitutes however there was a large selection of the menu that didn't come with meat and a few options with tofu which I liked!

So many veg options! The peach French toast was so good, as were the potatoes! Also got one of the teas from Germany that had hibiscus and rose I think? I couldn’t stop drinking it. I’ll definitely be back!

Service yesterday 3/9 was absolutely horrid. Had to ask several times for our tea. One person received their food, ate, finished and the two of us have yet to receive our food. Very disappointed.

Great service, the gentleman gave suggestions and helped us order. The food came out quickly and was good. The dumplings were okay. Kind of tasted like frozen dumplings.

I called in for a pickup of the bacon omelette and asked the cashier if it is the same as the Bexley location, which I usually go to, and was assured the menus were the same. Imagine my surprise when I picked up the order, which costs the same exact amount as the Bexley one, and it's the worst looking food I have ever seen. There was no vegetables in the omelette and very little vegetables in the potatoes. The omelette looked like someone smashed it for 2 hours before serving it. The potatoes were hard and not cooked all the way through and the fruit was very very bland. It's just disappointing when you ask questions before placing an order and then when you pick it up it's not what was asked for. When I called back in the new cashier, a guy when I talked to a girl, said maybe the girl didn't know that since they are 2 diff locations the food isn't the same and I don't buy that excuse. Anyone taking orders for a restaurant should know how the food is prepared. It was the worst food experience I have ever had. To be really really honest. I could've gotten a better omelette from bob Evan's, tee jayes, or any other cheaper and less comparable option. You can see the photos: one from Bexley, the other from this location and you can SEE the difference, let alone imagine the taste.

This place is phenomenal. We came there with a big group and everyone’s food and tea was fantastic! Highly recommend if you’re looking for something different and reasonably priced. Someone in our group also commented about how friendly the staff is. I would second that. They have very healthy options for food as well. Something really for everybody. It must visit when you’re in Columbus!

Probably the best place to get tea in Columbus. I also highly recommend trying their chicken dumplings.Edit... This place has been declining in food quality over the last few visits in the recent months. I don't know if it's supply chain related or staffing. Unfortunately no consistency anymore. Tea is still great though.

One of my favorite spots to get brunch in Columbus! Be prepared to wait 1-2 hours for your food. I've been coming here for 4 years and haven't ever gotten food faster. Obviously it's worth it because I keep coming back! Try the Earl Gray pancakes and get some dumplings as an appetizer. Parking is usually pretty cheap on High Street if you can find a place. Give it a try some morning - just bring something to do and I promise you won't be disappointed.Parking: Limited street spots or garages within a ten minute walk

Cool vibe, not too busy, clean place, great service, reasonable prices, and a very fun menu, especially if you like teas. They had a brunch menu when we visited. I tried their Special Okonomiyaki (japanese savory pancakes), Masala Toast, assorted tea cookies, and Safari (African) tea.The Special Okonomiyaki was good, just not for me. The Masala toast was great, but I wasn't really taking the Masala. It seemed just like normal avacado toast with eggs on top.You can get three tea cookies in one order and there are four flavors to choose from: Masala, Cardamom, Earl Grey, and Lavendar. I choose not to get the Masala since we were already getting the Masala toast and got the other three flavors. The Cardomom was my favorite followed by the Earl Grey. The lavendar was just too strong for my taste. I think people would either hate it or love it. The cookies, in general, were buttery, and would really just melt in your mouth. The Safari tea was wonderful and I'm betting that most people would like it.All of their teas can be made hot or iced with an option to add bubbles (for bubble tea). Will definitely be coming back when I'm in town. They also have a second location, which may or may not be more convenient for you to go to.

Wow, very disappointing I used to love this place. It was not busy when we got there- after about 15 minutes I had to ask to be waited on. They were out of five different.things thar we wanted on the menu. Then, they brought my food out literally 30 minutes before my nephew’s! Ty e food was not what it used to be at all either! The omelet I ordered had no flavor whatsoever. The tea was not even good- they did not put enough in the pot, just basically had hot water.

Love the chai. Unfortunately, the waiter looked at my friend on her phone and said "she is on her mobile so she doesn't get anything" hinting that she was on her phone at the table, so therefore she doesn't get to order anything. It was incredibly rude and awkward. The atmosphere is awkward if you want tea to go. They should have a sitting area for those who order to go because it takes 20-30 minutes for the tea to be done. I don't want to stand around for 20-30 minutes when I can sit down and relax while I wait for the tea. But the staff has been awkward both times I got tea to go and sat down. I haven't eaten the food so I can't comment on that.

Really good atmosphere and food. Loved every dish we tried. Only reason food isn’t a 5 star is because the Moroccan mint tea was incredibly bitter and they didn’t have regular sugar (only Splenda) for the table. But the actual food was amazing.

Very disappointed with latest visit. Went with daughters families after COSI visit. Ordered 9 bubble teas (tapioca), one with extra bubbles. Received 8 teas which literally had 10 bubbles in each, and the one with extra bubbles had no more than the others. After a wait, we asked about the 9th tea, and they said we only ordered 8. Upon checking the receipts, they did realize we ordered 9. However they had no more bubbles. So now I know why each of our teas had so few, they were dividing up the remaining bubbles. So we asked for our money back on the 9th tea, to which the manager said they couldn't do and just pick a different drink. We didn't want a different drink (so our one granddaughter got no bubble tea). So I asked for something they could give us to get a free tea next time we came in. He said they couldn't do that either. After a bit of conversation, he said just come in when he is there and he would remember us and give us a free tea. Upon telling him with live a ways away, and don't get down her often and that I was going to plan my next visit around him being there, he still wouldn't give us a refund or anything in writing to show we had a free drink coming. So I gave up, and ordered my wife a second drink, which was less expensive than the bubble tea to begin with. Will definitely never go back here again, and we had been customers for many years almost every time we are in the downtown area.

While in Columbus, we came across ZenCha Tea Salon. This looked like a nice spot to recharge to continue our Columbus adventures. Here you can buy loose tea, you can have it to go, or you can sit and stay a while. We decided to stay. Their tea menu is categorized by country of origin. You can also get bubble tea. We got a tea each, I got the cinnamon orange from the Middle East, my one friend got the Strawberry Vally from Germany and my other friend got one of the Chais from India. We also got three scones and Edamame to share. The scones and the edamame first arrived to our table. These were so, so delicious, it's obvious they are freshly made in house. We got, cranberry, s'mores and blueberry. These were warm, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Then topped with butter... Mmm. The edamame was fine. We waited a very long time for our teas, around 45 minutes. When we inquired about why it's taking so long, we were told they ran out of teapots, when the dishwasher is done they would get the tea going. Ok well, that's honest. I asked for water three times, before it had finally been brought out to me. Once the teas had been brought out to us, they came in individual tea pots, and each of our tea cups was different. There was plenty in each teapot for us to share, and enjoy! My favorite was the Strawberry Valley. They were all very flavorful, fragrant and delicious! We had a great time at Zen Cha Tea Salon. I would stop by again when in the area.
