Went here to watch a Buckeye football game. The food was decent, drinks were cheap, atmosphere was great. However, the two bartenders consistently stayed on the right side of the bar, completely ignoring half of the patrons on the other side. We had to keep politely flagging them down which was irritating. At one point I stood next to a guy (who had been at the bar waiting before me) for fifteen minutes before I finally started waving my hands around, only to receive an eye roll...
We planned to just stop here for a beer on our way up to campus for the game (Minnesota / homecoming '25) and ended up staying most of the day. It was hot out and the ac felt good. The bartenders did an amazing job keeping up with the bar as it filled up with fans. They had a good variety of games to watch and even when I had a misunderstanding with a waitress, she took it upon herself to come over and express her regret for how her words came out. It wasn't necessary...
My friend and I were looking for a nice lovely dive bar. Bartenders were fast and attentive, food was actually amazing and fresh, crowd was not too old not too young. It was extremely loud haha but for a Friday night that’s expected and after a few drinks we were loud too. I will say I got the same drink three times poured by three different bartenders and they all tasted different. Last one had the best mix though for sure. We’re looking to making this our Friday night vibe....
