Zhu Shi Fu Barbecue （朱师傅烧烤）

This is an authentic and delicious Chinese style bbq place. Everything was fresh, tasty, and flavorful. My servers were attentive and the food came out quickly.
My friend and I ordered several dishes. Highly recommend their pork feet, eggplant, grilled fish, and lamb skewers. The eggplant and fish really impressed me. The baked cheese corn was a little too sweet for me. The fried rice and ramen tasted a little bland but they were perfectly matched with salty bbq skewers. The dining room was a little small, so it could take a long time to wait during dinner time.

Very chill and intimate vibe. Friendly, caring, and attentive service with bold and unique flavors. A lil hidden gem in the city.

We go here like atleast twice if not more a month. The food especially the skewers are the best!!! It always come out fresh too. The staff is nice as well. Best part its BYOB! Highly recommend this place!

The service and food are very good, I go here almost once a week. This is the only place in Ge Village where you can eat barbecue that is close to the domestic level. Come on, keep the business going for a long time so that we can have more delicious food?
Very authentic Chinese BbQ. My husband and I pretty much go once a week. As a Cantonese, their soup is pretty good too. Good luck with the business, we love the service and the food!

When I walked in, the guy said “all the tables are taken”. Literally that’s it. He didn’t offer the waitlist or anything. I said “ok so we’ll wait outside?”. He frowned and said “they are new tables. It will be about 30 minutes”. I said “ok” and waited outside. During that time, another group came in and wrote their number down and gave it to him. While we were waiting, he called them and they came in and got seated!! Another group came in and he was talking to them in Chinese eyeing a table that was about to open. That’s when we realized we weren’t going to be seated and we left without any acknowledgement still. Would love to have tried it!

The flavor is authentic. And the environment is clean and tidy!

1 word. Yum! This place was insanely great. Drove all the way from Cle and still crave their oysters and skewers. Everything was freshly made. Prices were not bad for the portion and amount of food given. Service was fast and servers were great. Place was very clean and quiet. Plenty of tables too! Overall, had a fantastic visit. There’s no parking lot so basically you’ll have to find street parking.

Also- while eating, there were a handful of take out orders. So if you can’t stop by, make sure to order some take out!

I was quite disappointed with my experience here. Although their Google listing says they close at 12:00, they stopped taking orders at 11:30, but my friend, who was already seated, wasn’t informed about this. We ended up wasting a 40-minute trip for nothing. On top of that, some of the meat tasted overly salty and didn’t seem very fresh. Overall, it was not what we expected.
