In response to the negative comments....
Y'all complaining about the flies...however...not one person said they got sick from the food...and don't be acting like you've never put something dirty or questionable in your mouths before....so kindly shut your mouths up...
This post is an honest and real review...
When we pulled in, we were unsure what to expect...but when that little sweet lady, Lori, greeted us...all my hesitations disappeared. I looked at my friend, and...read full review
As soon as we pulled up, I felt uneasy. Honestly freaked out. We were the only customers at the time. I seriously thought we might become part of the next meal. The surroundings looked abandoned, there was only a port-o-let for a restroom. The lady that waited on us was very nice, a much older lady. Food took forever. My husband and I went last month. Lori is so so nice and so sweet the food was awesome. We got cheeseburgers and FF but the burgers was so big and juicy I was really amazed at how good they was. I couldn't even eat all of mine. I'll be going back with my mom and neighbor this week. Check it out definitely worth the drive❤️❤️

Shokey's Country Kitchen is a hidden gem off the beaten path. Known for their delicious homemade egg rolls, the fish, shrimp, and fries platter is a must-try, along with the chicken, shrimp, and fish platter with hushpuppies and fries. The steak, pepper, and onions hoagie is also wonderful. With most menu items priced under $10, it's a great value for money. The friendly staff and mouth-watering food make it worth the visit, as confirmed by customers who traveled just to taste the hype. The owner, a sweet and precious lady, runs the restaurant all by herself in a remodeled bus, creating a down-home feel like an outside family BBQ. Though the place isn’t fancy, the food is tasty and the service is heartfelt. Don't miss out on this delightful dining experience.
