The "new" Wendy's that opened on 2nd Street in 2022 has the fresh toppings.. Lettuce, tomato, onion and pickels. Buns are fresh as if they are made daily. Having eaten at several local places it becomes natural to accept the"normal" sandwich and average customer service. Once I ate at the newest Wendy's I immediately was greeted by the best staff in town with the freshest food as well. I applaud the owner have great respect for the team working there...
A large lemonade with a cup full of ice. I poured out the lemonade and it barely filled a juice glass. The summer strawberry salad is not what it used to be. There was probably only 1 whole strawberry in the whole salad. Barely any lettuce, 30% large burnt pieces of bacon. I couldn't even chew them. What a waste of money. All this after waiting in the drive thru for almost 20 minutes after we ordered.
Food is typical Wendy's, the drive thru can use a little more speed and I have already seen people playing with their hair and face then continue on touching food without washing or at least sanitizing
