Imagine gourmet beans from around the globe roasted right here in Summit county and available to you fresh. The depth of flavor is excellent.Pearl coffee is available at many local restaurants and Acme stores. I go to the Pearl coffee retail store on Broadway st in Akron and get the beans straight from the roaster. The parking is easy and they fill a real 16 oz pound which is a huge value.Parking: Park right in front of the door.“
“Just a short walk from my apartment for such amazing quality coffee! I got the Yia Yia's Kaffe and Reggae Me Crazy beans, and while I've only tried the former, it was delicious!!! “Heartwood is my wife and my go-to place for coffee in Hudson. I'm hesitant to say that because I don't really want it to attract more attention. It's often very busy and difficult to find a table at certain hours. The coffee is excellent and the food is too. We usually go with the quinoa bowl and the yogurt and granola bowl to supplement our coffee. I was a little disappointed yesterday because the tomatoes didn't seem quite right, but all things considered it was great.“
“Stopped in for gift, and ordered drinks. I had the grasshopper, which was a delicious mint chocolate coffee drink. I loved that it was well balanced and I could still taste the coffee as well as the other flavors - one of the best coffee drinks I’ve had! Service was quick and super friendly. We got a sample size of coffee beans to try as well. They had a large assortment of beans and offer small sample packages as well as full size bags. We’ll definitely return!“
“Walking is so much fun. I always stumble into Little gems in often hideaway corners that nobody seems to notice. So I followed the sign that said find coffee here. And I found coffee there. Friendly people and good service. As I am always looking for LGBTQ+ friendly places, I found yet another one in Akron coffee roasters. Don't look for meals but you will find good coffee. The place is small but packed with good coffee. Each cup is individually brewed and the barista, appeared unaffected by me being transgender. So if you happen to be on High Street, stop in and get a cup of Josephine.“
“I don’t usually write reviews, but this place is freaking awesome. I love their customer service. Every employee, that I have interacted with, has been so sweet. I’m a huge fan of their frozen drinks. Mocha freeze actually tastes like the real chocolate!! I would definitely recommend this place, and I will be bringing more of my friends. “
“Some of the best coffee beans I've gotten anywhere, every time I'm in the area I stop by and get more. If you have any interest in specialty coffee, natural process or any kind of funky fermented type of coffee beans you have to check this place out. I've had 5 or 6 different roasts at this point and all of them have been spectacular.“
“Really loved this place on a Saturday. Lots of reading, group meetings, and we even did a puzzle while we had our lunch and coffees. My plain latte was delicious, no extra syrupy syrups needed!Parking: No issues with parking.Kid-friendliness: It was loud in the space, so it made for a great kid option place. Others were reading (there is also a bookstore in the coffee shop) but I wouldn't have been able to read with the commotion. I loved the vibe of the shop though!“
“We’re very kind and even talked to me after I ordered while they were making a very delicious matcha. Loved how they made it the traditional way and not with some dumb electric wisk. The entire shop felt very comforting and a very peaceful atmosphere.“
