Typical giant eagle shopping experience. Big store that's not as fancy as the one in market district but it features everything you would expect at a grocery store. Cash registers are not the best and reject your money. Store is thankfully very quiet and peaceful to shop at.

Tons of parking, not too messy, i can early morning so a lot of items hadn't been restocked yet. The layout makes sense and it was easy to navigate. They upped the amount of self check out which I prefer because anytime I come here and go through a checkout with an attendant it takes ages. I was a bit put off by the staff near customer service. I had an item that the scanner couldn't read due to barcode placement. Pressed the "call for help" button but no one came. It was slow and i was near several employees that were doing nothing but talking and laughing loudly with each other. Eventually I managed to stretch the barcode enough for the scanner to read it. But come on guys, I'm already doing your job for you, the least you could do is offer assistance when it's needed

This review is specifically for grocery delivery. I got sick last week and my husband was already sick. We have two cats otherwise we would likely have consumed every odd can in the pantry before trying to get groceries. I tried many others but was only able to get delivery dates a week from now -- if they would come to my neighborhood at all! Giant Eagle promised delivery in the morning. Lifesaver. They aren't perfect-- they forgot all the drinks (one of which was seltzer I was counting on for part of my "feel better) and charge just under 10 dollars for their third party delivery-- but the customer service (and this MATTERS) answers the phone. Also, at our point of desperation (the cats were out of food obviously) I was grateful for the option. The disconnect between the delivery person and the store might make error remediation a challenge, but sick and in bed and near a holiday during a pandemic I got better service than one might expect.I had to come back and give full credit after:1. They sent someone over with the beverages an hour later with no ceremony. 2. I just saw that they refunded us $10Big equity earned. This made me feel good about doing business with the company.

This is a real nice grocery store. They have sections for dairy, meats, prepared foods, pantry items, even fresh produce! They have several great money-saving plans as well, including fuelperks and eAdvantage. Josh Jones is hands-down the best cashier in the joint, if not in the whole state! What else can I say? If you are running low on milk, cereal, or grapes, give Giant Eagle Market District a try. I doubt you will regret it.

Decent sushi, and ready made options are alright. Bartenders are usually quick but only when they are actually at the bar. I love the selection of beers on tap!

Clutter everywhere. Lack of management helps. The check line computer is off! Produce isn't quality for the price! Some stuff on the floor isn't edible.i always have bag my oven groceries. The bar does always have a bartender there. Staff is stocking at busy hours and in the way. My husband and I are no longer get produce there! It's ridiculous

I absolutely love the Sushi to go cooler, inside Giant East Market District! They always have a great selection and they have added so many more new options! The majority of the items are all cooked or imitation meats. So you newbies should give it a go and get out of your comfort zone... lol I lovers well because they will work with your dietary needs. I'm usually into just salmon and they will take time from there busy schedule to prepare mine. They also remember who I am,once I walk to the counter they ask how many I need and get to it! Amazing customer service!!!

The Fresh Market is to die for. So much to choose from.

The salad bar is 7.99 a pound and needs attention with empty containers, and no one around seems to care. The prices go up up up, and the quality goes down down down

This is a super nice Giant Gagle, with a huge selection and smaller brands you don't see everywhere. The wine selection alone is impressive for a grocery stoMy review is for the employees. There was a stocking mistake and a products price was miss marked. The manager gave it to me for an even lower price than what was on the sign, which he didn't have to do. It was very nice of him.

This is a very good Giant Eagle. In fact, it is a Giant Eagle Market District. What does this mean? - Dry cleaning service. - Dining with ample eating area, including stir fry, bbq, salad bar, sushi, and gelato - Pharmacy with their version of the "minute clinic" - Expanded grocery store with a large selection of many items The prices are slightly more expensive when comparing to area grocery stores, and the check-out lines are often a small wait as many people shop here. It is 24 hours so if you plan accordingly you won't deal with the rush. This helps because while there is a lot of parking, it is often near capacity. Customer service is good most of the time.
