Always greeted by a smile and a good price. Its my favorite place to grab a chai and lemonade! The music is always good too, I love this place
Extremely overpriced and the longest waits ever for food to arrive after ordered, besides the long wait to be seated. Paid 35 for breakfast tacos that tasted old and cold. Unbelievable after that kind of wait.

I’m embarrassed to admit I just had my first dinner experience at The Blue Door. I’ve certainly enjoyed brunch there, but I’m kicking myself I haven’t made it to dinner before. It was incredible! The bread and butter board was generous and a fun experience to share with my foodie friends. My husband got the mushroom pasta, friend got the fish and chips and I enjoyed the cassoulet. All were spectacular and now will be a regular spot in our dinner rotation.

Tasty but expensive
We were welcomed by a friendly hostess and immediately sat on the covered patio by a heater.
We ordered the morel mushroom omelet and it was delicious!!! We split this bc it was made with 4 eggs, also ordered bacon and a fresh side salad. So good!!!!

5/5. The parking lot was full so we had to ask where else we could park - which was the overflow hospital parking. The interior had a very cozy modern cafe feel. It was very full inside during weekend brunch, every table was full and the tables are pretty close together, but it didn’t feel cramped. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. They have their classic menu and a seasonal menu, and a bakery that you can order to-go, take home, or at the table. There are delicious coffee drinks to choose from coffee to affogato. The meal was delicious and all textures and flavors paired perfectly. You can get on the waitlist using their website on the same day. It starts getting very busy after 9AM, so it’s best to plan and get on the list ahead of time. There is indoor and outdoor seating as well.

We were excited to try The Blue Door after hearing so many great things, but unfortunately the experience was really frustrating.
We arrived at 9:50am on a Saturday with a group of 5 plus a baby and were quoted about a 1 hour wait. Fine — we expected it to be busy. After waiting an hour and a half, the hostesses told us our table was technically available, but the guests sitting there hadn’t paid yet and they didn’t want to ask them to leave because the owner was present and “doesn’t want bad reviews.”
At that point we were then told it would still likely be another 45 minutes to an hour before food would come out after being seated. With a baby getting increasingly fussy, we finally had to leave without eating.
I understand weekends are hectic and restaurants get slammed, but the communication and overall handling of the situation felt really poor. The comment about avoiding bad reviews instead of managing wait times honestly rubbed us the wrong way.
Maybe the food is amazing, but after spending 90 minutes waiting only to leave hungry with a cranky baby, it’s hard to justify giving it another shot.

Fantastic local place!! The food presentation was very delightful and the taste of the food was also. The wait time was very long on a weekend so be prepared, and parking is limited but not impossible to find - I’d say it was definitely worth that though. The avocado toast and eggs were perfection, as well as the strawberry blintzes (not pictured). I didn’t find it to be any more expensive than a comparable chain option (such as FW). The owner works hard to keep things moving here and it shows. My service was good - anything incorrect was promptly corrected. I will definitely be returning.

Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Michael and he was kind enough to add some vegetarian options that were absolutely incredible. The quality of ingredients and preparation is top notch. A definite must for brunch and now dinner as well. Don’t miss it!
