Today's visit was my first in YEARS, and my friend hadn't been to one since his neighborhood restaurant closed permanently. We arrived at 2 pm and there was NOBODY inside.. well, there were maybe 4-6 guests, but none came in afterward! It was very lean in guests and very quiet, which had us wondering if we'd just missed the lunch crowd or was it always this way on Mondays 🤔. After some consideration, I raised my review ratings. I remember when this Applebee's was busy and really bustling, so I decided I couldn't downgrade their rating because of the economy. The food was good. I had the Southwest Bowl (not the correct name). It was filling and offered a combination of flavors. The server was friendly but over worked.

Update: Management contacted me about the situation and told me there was new staff/training. I am sympathetic for that, but would be nice if told upfront. Glad management reached out to me to try to help, that tells me that they care and are trying. We will give them another shot.
